Dr Ho'sNeck Comforter

This is BY FAR soooooo much better than the "over the door - hang by your jaw/neck thing"!! My doc prescribed the over the door thing, but probably because they didn't know about this. This is so much better, way more comfy and works better. It really does raise your head up without hurting your jaw. It has tabs (unseen in pics) that work for either a smaller neck or a wider neck. Then the long tabs in the pic, close the product around your neck. The top and bottom have a velvet like fabric flocking that is super soft,and comfortable as you don't stick to it if you sweat. You blow it up by squeezing the tube and then sliding a pepple like thing down, which locks the air in. To deflate, you move the pebble thing out and into a concave area of the tube, twist the ring at the pump and it deflates flat to fold and fit in your purse or briefcase. I say it the way it is, and so the truth is this is AWESOME!!! I Highly recommend it so much so, I am informing my doctor about it's existence. It really works and is very well constructed. Very impressed with the quality. Feel better~ :)

At first glance, this thing resembles a torture device. However, once I figured out how it works and got it adjusted for my long thin neck, I love it. Initially, I almost choked myself because I didn't have it set properly (**I can be dumb sometimes**, but be careful anyway!) Honestly, the DVD wasn't much of help, but it was better than nothing. I just used trial and error.My right shoulder has given me problems for over a year, and I couldn't figure out why; it simply ached and was accompanied by sharp pains. I have not been able to lay my head backward to my shoulders without nerves (electric) twinging. And, as of late, have had tingling down my arm, into my hands and fingers, as well as them going numb.However, after only 2 days, the nerve pain in my neck has been dramatically reduced. My shoulder feels better than it has for a very long time. And, apparently, my circulation throughout my neck, shoulders, and down to my hands have improved.I do not know how much more all of this will improve, but I say that I do recommend this product or another brand similar to it.

Very uncomfortable as it puts a lot golf pressure on your jawline. Plus when you pump it up the Velcro starts giving away. I was not happy with this order and should have returned it but had too much going on so I didn’t get to in time. I gave it to my brother. Maybe he is having better luck. Lol

I was having severe pain from a pinched nerve in my neck when I discovered this product on Amazon. At that point anything seemed worth a try, so I ordered.This really works! Although I don't think it could have cured my pinched nerve (that took physical therapy) it definitely helped to relieve the pain.There are tabs so you can adjust how the device fits around your neck. You can also choose not to inflate the top ring if three rings make it too tall for your neck.What I found worked best for me was to fully inflate the bottom two rings, then open the channel to the third ring and pump several times. Immediate relief!The pump is easy to work--just remember to close the release valve before you start pumping. If the valve is open, the rings will not inflate.The cover is soft and it did not make my neck hot or sweaty. I wouldn't say it was "comfortable," but my neck felt much better with it on than with it off.

I bought mine March 2016 and haven't used it in quite a few months. Pulled it out of the closet to stretch out some kinks in my neck and the pump no longer is a bulb, sucked in, but it still "worked" with a lot of effort. The tubing must have deteriorated because I can no longer move the ball out of the pocket to hold the air in; even though the pillows still do inflate it's a losing battle keeping it inflated. I like the way it worked previously so I'll order another one. Maybe this brand or try a different brand.

I've been using this product for about 2 years, it no longer holds being inflated and the pump keeps detaching. It's also not all that user friendly, although I got used to it and could make it work. Oftentimes the velcro wouldn't hold well enough.

I was super positive about this device when I ordered it.. have a torn disk, with a couple herniated disk in my neck.. chiropractor was not giving me enough relief... it arrived fast, and I stuck it in my neck... my problem is this-If you have TMJ it is NOT a good device for you! It pushes up on my jaw too much. In order to get relief in my neck, it had to be firm to do the extension... and that meant tightly squeezing my jaw :-/ I did not ever think of that part prior to ordering.I did not return it though because my husband loves using it, and I’m hoping one day, I will be able to use it again too...

My husband love's this. As someone who had broken his neck and had 3 spinal fusions of C-5/6/7, he already has several neck braces, but sometimes needs something different. This provides more support and releases him from the weight of holding his one head up - he puts it on every night to watch TV. He says it is a great relief. I saw an engineer at work wearing one who swore by it.He said, "Everyman needs a HO". I would otherwise be offended, but I think in this case, I agree. It really provides relief. BTW, I stole it the other day for my bulging/herniating discs in C-5/6, C7/T1. It really provided some traction effect, and when I later took it off, felt so much better.
