Great product
Great product. Satellite texting worked perfectly.

Better than I expected
This replaces my Garmin Oregon 450. The Montana finds my position faster and is much, much easier to read. Especially if I lose my glasses while hunting. I was also able to transfer my waypoints and downloaded maps from my Oregon to the Montana. It is bigger than most gps', but the little added weight is worth the advantages.

Not what you think
This is extremely difficult to use. The menus and controls are counter intuitive. Don’t bother using as a car gps; the display is too dim. Good luck outdoors. By the time you set up directions, you could have already gotten there with a crappy iphone “gps”. I wish I had used it and returned it immediately. It sat on my counter for a few months before I took it out on adventure, so now I am stuck with it.

It is a Montana 700i like any other, but much cheaper
I was hesitant to buy such an expensive outdoor device as refurbished/renewed, but I was delivered a product with zero noticeable defects or wear. It functions correctly and battery life is what I expect of a new unit. My only complaint is with Garmin and not Amazon. I can’t believe Garmin did not retool to update this device to USB-C instead of micro-USB. Of all my devices, this is the only one that is not USB-C, so thank you Garmin for requiring me to carry an extra cable.

Good gps
Bought it for motorcycle but have used it on hikes too. On hikes I put it in a backpack and use it only when I get turned around.

Exactly as described. Like new condition!
Refurbished but like new! Highly satisfied! Like new, no issues. Works great! Can't tell a difference from new!

clunky, heavy and super buggy
Bad: For the most part, this thing is garbage. It is slow, heavy, bulky and full of bugs....it takes forever to customize, connection to apps, WiFi bluetooth is horrible at best, and when you finally getting everything how you want it )including contacts) it deletes every you did and resets itself randomly and usually when you need it most. But what choice do you have? They have a monopoly on the market so it's pretty much Garmin or nothing.Good: it is 100% accurate in every way. I offroad a lot and ride my bike into desolate places and when every GPS fails including the satellite GPS in my Tacoma i go to the Montana 700i and it comes through every time. Not to mention the weather forecast is 100% on point, again when every weather app prediction fails the Montana is on point and has saved my from a couple of rainy situations the other apps failed to predict. I don't even both with the other weather apps anymore.Bottom line is i wish Garmin would take quality more serious, in this world of tech it is hard to understand why my Iphone 8 runs like a super computer compared to the Montana.
