I was worried these would arrive broken because I had read it was a frequently returned item. However I was elated when I opened both boxes and all 12 were in perfect condition. My husband loves sake and these were the perfect edition to the sake warmer I bought him for his birthday. I will say I expected the cup to be a little deeper like a tea cup but I do prefer this shallow depth for the sake.

These little cups are a delight. They are glazed black but still keep a very natural earthy look. The price for a set of 12 is great. I use them while guiding forest bathing walks. Perfect for a large group tea tasting. See 3year old size for reference.

I purchased these for a Japanese themed party. They look very nice and come in packaging that would be nice for gift giving.

I didn't have high expectation for this product. I just needed some small and inexpensive tea cups for a tea tasting workshop I planned for work. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the cups though. They are true ceramic, feel nice and hefty, and look pretty nice. The finishing touches aren't perfect, but I didn't expect gorgeous handmade cups at the price. Of course, they also function well as tiny cups and worked like a charm for my tea tasting workshop. I have read reviews applauding the packaging, but honestly that felt like the cheapest part of this product. It's nicely dressed up thin and cheap cardboard. Anyway, as small ceramic cups, they look good and work well. This set is good value for what you get.
