Successfully Installed with 12 Gauge Wire, Work and Looks great! Excellent value for the money.
Successful with 12 Guage Wire(12-Guage InstallGear Speaker Wire - 99.9% Oxygen Free Copper - True Spec Soft Touch)Everyone is complaining about the screw not wanting to screw in all the way back down... and to their point, this is correct. However with a little raw man-muscle power, and a set of good pliers, it's not too difficult to get the screw mostly back into a good enough spot... but this does possibly damage the screw(s) head in the process...Despite this potential injury, the screw is now effectively & permanently in place, and it's just a matter of getting the plastic cover back on. Which itself was not too difficult, you just have to slide the cover on and go over top to the screw, which should now only leave a small bump in the end... not at all affecting the performance or positioning of the wires. So in the end, these plugs worked very well. They are very cost effective, they look very nice compared to plain standard wires... But the best factor for me was the fact that once I installed them, they helped me to eliminate a small interference sound that I was experiencing through the speakers when it was just the plain wires (i'm no audio expert so i'm not sure as to what was causing it and why exactly these helped, but it did.)

Good to have as long as the wires will fit.
Good to have as long as the wire size will fit. User may want/need something to hold them while connecting the wire. screws are small and easy to drop and lost - Use care

Nimble Fingers
These worked fine, though it was a bit time-consuming putting six pairs together. As a previous reviewer suggested, try to do the work over a table, ideally with a soft place mat of some sort. The tiny screws will come out, even if you're careful. I didn't follow the advice on the first piece and spent 5 minutes looking for the screw that bounced on a hardwood floor. Lesson learned. Not sure if I'd want to handle this job with pipe fitter's hands as the screws are pretty small. That said, everything went together fine. You will not be able to get the screw all the way down, but even with the 12ga wire I used, I was able to maneuver the plastic sleeves over the extruding screws. So after 21 years of cursing at my 4 room speaker selector because the 12ga wire kept coming loose here and there, the problem is solved.

Excellent connectors for spring clip speaker terminals.
These banana pins work very well with spring clip speaker terminals. My receiver and speaker setup is a mix of 5-way binding posts and spring clips. I used banana clips ( amzn.com/B075JRBBKT ) for the 5-way and these banana pins for the spring clips. They provide a secure connection to the speaker wire and won't fall out. They make installing/uninstalling a simple matter and my future self will be pleased once I get new furniture and have to unplug everything just to install it again. The rubber sleeves can be positioned to cover any gap left over; as the pins are longer than the spring clip opening. I did not have a problem with shorts with the bare pins exposed; but I chose to position the sleeves so that they are covered up anyway. You can clip the end of the pin but I chose just to push the sleeve up higher to cover the exposed pin area.Be careful not to unscrew the pin all the way when attaching the speaker cable as it will fall out.

Good but...
Great product but one complaint is they are a little big for the small satellite speaker terminals. They got but really had to cram them in there. They would be perfect if they were just a little bit smaller. In normal size terminals they for great.

This odd looking banana is the new UK standard
I've used a lot of banana terminations over five decades.Gold plated.Easy to install. They accommodate large gauge wire, #10AWG (or smaller.Provide sure-grip of the socket.A lot of bang for the $.

Good value
Good value for your money. Low quality build. The rubber cover doesn't shrink or anything so is not a smooth fit. Also, the screws are very flimsy so be gentle. I just used heat shrink tubing for my cables and soldered them because the wasn't tight enough.

Great for vintage audio!
I have several older receivers from the 70s, (Pioneer, Kenwood, Marantz, Onkyo), and these work great. The set screw is plenty long enough, and using a quality 14 guage wire, they were easy to assemble. They fit into the receiver speaker outputs and the speaker inputs, and lock nicely on the grooves machined onto the pins. The rubber boot covers and insulates well, to prevent against clipping. I thought there might be an issue with them being straight, instead of having the 45° bend. Nope. I have seveal sets of speakers that I toggle between, using a connector board that I bought from Parts Express. Hooking up several sets of speakers is now a breeze. Do this and you'll never go back to the "twisted wire" routine. Also a better and guaranteed conection.
