Always works and makes the water cleaner. I prefer the slight bleach smell, but if you don’t like the smell of bleach, this isn’t for you. It’s not strong, but it’s there. I also love that it doesn’t make the water is light blue like the other cleaners do.

These are almost the only thing I do to clean toilets. Aside from an occasional brushing, they are all I need to keep the bowls clean and bright. They prevent that pink mold that grows in standing water in some locales, and they also prevent lime buildup. It's as easy as dropping one in every few months.
