I bought these adapters after I lost my old Samsung phone and needed to get a new phone. I got a ZTE Blade Z Max which has a USB C instead of the micro USB. A couple of months ago I purchased a set of all around great micro USB cables Volutz Micro USB Cable (5 Pack; 10ft + 6.5ft + 3X 3.3ft) Short to Extra Long Braided, Fast Charging Cords, Micro USB to USB 2.0 for Android/Windows/PS4/Xbox and More - Equilibrium Series. Which I didn't want to replace because they are brand new, work great, are very well made, and durable. I decided to get adapters for my cables instead of getting replacement cables since it would be cheaper and why do away with great working cables right? The adapters are great and work perfectly. They come in a small package and the four pack comes with four adapters and four chains. One for each adapter to secure them to the cable they will be used with or to attache the adapter to your keys to always have it on the go with you. I used the chains to secure the adapters to the wires I am using them with. However, the chains do not have to be used. They are great for keeping track of the adapters and keeping them from being misplaced as they are very small and will easily go missing. When I purchased these adapters my main concerned was my phone`s fast charging ability remaining unaffected. If using these adapters would take away my phone`s fast charging ability then they would not have been worth it. I am very happy to say that the adapters did not effect my phone`s fast charging ability it is still able to fast charge. This may not be the case for other people because fast charging depends on more than just the adapter. The brick (what you plug into the wall) has to be a fast charging brick, the cable being used has to be fast charging capable (not all micro USB wires are fast charging capable), Last but not least the phone has to be fast charging capable. With respect to the charging the adapters work great and do not effect the phone`s fast charging ability. The adapters fit great onto the cables and into the USB C port on my phone. They were not lose or had any give to them. They also were not too tight or difficult to insert into the phone`s port or attache to the micro USB cable. No excessive force or pressure had to be used at all for any of the connections. I have not tested the cables for data transfer as I tend to do that over the WiFi. All around these are great adapters for micro USB cables that you have and would like to keep using with a device that has a USB C port. I would definitely recommend them. Its a great product for a great value.

When I backpack, I carry 2 charging cables - a micro USB for my camera and GPS, and a USB C for my Samsung phone. I'm a gram nerd, so I picked these up so I could just carry one cable and this little adapter. Expecting that they don't support USB 3.0 fast charging, I didn't really care because all I wanted to do was save a couple ounces but still be able to charge my devices overnight.I am not disappointed at all with these adapters. They have worked great on my power banks for charging the above mentioned devices. My Samsung phone charge time was my biggest concern, but I notice zero slow-down on charge times when using this adapter through a quality micro USB cable. I'm rather impressed, actually. The female end mates up snugly with the micro USB cable and stays on firm. The male USB C end also fits great in my Samsung S8, even with a big bulky case on it. The adapters are slim and built solid, and they include a little lobster claw keychain that you can clip right to your cable so you won't lose it. Great idea.I haven't tested these adapters when transferring data yet. Based on charge times, I would expect that data transfer would work fine but if I have an issue with that, I'll update this review.So now I carry just 1 micro USB cable and this adapter, and I can charge any electronics that I bring with me with no noticeable slow-down in charge times. One less thing to fiddle with on the trial.

I had to get a new phone, and my old phone was the micro USB. The new phone is USB-C. I hate this, because then you have to buy a million new charging cords to put everywhere. It's beyond obnoxious! Change is the worst.Well.... insert this product HERE!! Now you don't have to buy any new cords!!! Just put the tiny lobster clip in the tiny hole in the adapter itself, clip the bigger lobster clip onto the charging cord (this is sooo nice, prevents you from losing the little adapter), click this adapter in your phone charging port, charge away, and voila!! Save yourself money, save your cords, use this!!!This works perfect, it charges just like normal.. it's not a slow or laggy charge. Totally normal! Recommend! Thank you, thank you!!

These adapters are reasonably priced and seem to work fine - well at least three of them do. One does not fit correctly and will fall out of the port if the phone is moved.As for the other ones, so far they do not get hot when charging (both a standard and a turbo charger were tried) and fit my Moto phone fine. They seem solidly built and while the chains aren't heavy duty, they seem sturdy enough to hold up to daily use. Like most people, I have many micro USB cords that I have accumulated for other devices. Since phone manufacturers only provide one short cord, buying additional cords or longer cords is inevitable unless you have an adapter. Its nice to have an adapter readily available so you can use any micro USB cord to charge your device as needed. Having the ability to clip the adapter directly to a cord or to a key chain makes it much easier than dragging cords around with you.While I am disappointed that one of the adapters does not work, I do like the product so didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning the other 3. Just make sure you check all of them when they arrive.

I keep these around to use them for charging controllers and other small gadgets so I don't have to have both types of cables everywhere. They work just fine for that purpose.
