Although other vendors of anodized aluminum products state they are perfect for outdoor applications, the Zoom sheets fade in the sun within a few weeks. I reached out to Zoom support and was told that these sheets are not suitable for outdoor conditions:"Unfortunately anodized aluminum doesn’t do well outside. You would do better with a stainless steel material such as grade 316 and laser engraving. I hope there was nothing in our advertising to lead you to believe they would do well outside. If so send it to us and we will be sure to clarify it or take it down."

Great for engraving photos.

Love the product, the black ones don’t engrave as well and need to go over engraving several times to look good. Supplier takes way too long to ship product, wish I could find these locally and price is a little high for only 2 sheets in pack of 11x14 size

Excellent product exactly as described

Bought this to make a present for a friend with a poem that means a lot to her.Engraves really well and I really like the contrast between the black and silver once engraved.

I am using the tools for engraving on metal and plastic. They really work well. Did get another set in case I needed more, but the original ones I purchased are still as good as new.

Very sturdy and smooth...even the edges. I easily drilled out holes for Steel Cable Loops (taped first to prevent accidental scratching). Engraved on Glowforge Pro with no masking, just tapped down the corners so they wouldn't life from the fan. (Speed = 300. Power = Full). Color in photo looks hombre but it's actually plain red with poor camera lighting.

Tried both sheets front and back and both have an anomaly between the anodized layer and the bare aluminum. Not sure if it is the result of manufacturing. Emblem on right was after second pass with 50W Co2 laser at 95% power 50mm/s. Same power and speed left image first pass. I have run many other anodized aluminum sheets through my laser without and issues. Second picture is of anodized aluminum business cards not from this seller. No matter how many passes I cannot get rid of the anomaly. Looks like a band with circles and lines.

This is the first time I have ever engraved anything and I think it turned out awesome!!!! I engraved it on a Cricut Maker3I will definitely be purchasing this product again!!!

I've used the black aluminum sheets for some Cricut engrave projects. They give a nice result. Tape the sheet to the mat on all sides with masking tape. As the anodized layer is removed by the engraving head some aluminum dust is created. Keep an eye on your machine and clear the dust with a puff of air. You will also have to wipe down your work area after the job is done. The Feathercraft logo has a matte clear coat applied.

These plates are okay but look more like a brass running a 30w laser at 100% power 2passes leaves a brass like etch.
