If the solar array over runs the magnetic stops this is a safety backup to keep from breaking the drive motors and chains. Sturdy design and low cost backup that has already saved us money. Will be getting another as a alarm trigger on my own garage door. I've used similar repairing car wash gantry stops for more money so for great function and affordability this is now my go to.

These are sealed. Handles Chicago weather. Only thing is the lille bearing on the arm not as much. Still working, but starting to go.But four wires - easy. Normally open or closed (or I guess both...).I've replaced ALL the other brands with this.

Bought this limit switch to wire up a caution signal as a lower z-axis limit on my milling machine. Wired it so a buzzer sounds as I reach that limit.

The media could not be loaded. Since WiFi is unreliable in my unattached garage and I can’t see the door from my house I use this switch to turn on an outdoor light when the door is up and I can see it from my kitchen window!

The switch doesn't have a very clear electrical on/off signal. I wasn't able to use them for what I needed.
