Loved the look and feel of the product and also, it is quite stable when placed on the table... 👍👌 And moreover almost negligible noise comes out when it is working with full capacity... I just tried to go with this cheapest cooling pad on Amazon. Trust me this is really making some sense on my table. To begin with, this is a very good product, but I have to admit it is priced high. One of the challenges I face all the time, there is no on/off switch (button) for the fan. So when you connect it to the laptop with the USB cable provided in the package, the fan keeps running until you "manually remove" the USB, which honestly is very annoying. Constantly having to plug in and plug out the USB cable, not only its distracting, but you always have to be careful to make sure you don't pull the cable too hard to either tear the cable or drop the laptop. So, for the last couple of days that I've been using the cooling pad, I don't even care to switch on the fan, unless its an extreme situation, which rarely happens. Overall it is a good and durable product. For the price they are charging, either they should add the on/off button or drop the price further. But if price & features don't matter all that much, and you just need a good product, the Proffisy Aluminum Laptop Cooling Pad with One Big Quiet Cooling Fan, Laptop Cooler Stand is something I encourage you to consider for buying. I don't do gaming, so no comments on that. All the best!

All these years I have been using a Belkin Cooling pad with a small mini fan. When this died I needed a new one so I decided on this. When this arrived and judging from the size of the fan, I expected a tornado to sweep off my Laptop. However, this didn't happen but it does keep your Laptop cool. This is not recommended for Gamers.There's a lot of confusion on power source required to run this product. Somewhere they mention 5V 1 Amp. Elsewhere they say you can use your Laptop and even a Phone Charger. Nowadays most phone Chargers come with Power output 5V 2Amps. Customer Care confirmed that the ouput should not exceed 5V 2.25 Amps. So this is what I have done.I fished out an old Samsung Phone Charger 5V 0.7 Amps and after making necessary connections using " A Type Female Straight USB Connector with blue pvc wire " [ also available in Amazon ] I am using this cooling pad. I have also used a Power Adaptor 5V 2 Amps and noticed no change in the speed of the fan when using my Samsung Charger. This decision has enabled me not to put undue load on the motherboard which is already working overtime.Power Tip ~ Don't keep your cooling pad flat on the surface. Tilt it towards you using atleast one slot. This enables for better air flow from behind the Cooling Pad and thus quicker heat dissipation.Power Tip [ Window 7 ] ~ If you receive less number of " warnings " Event ID: 37 ' The speed of processor 3 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. This is a product review after 6 months of use.Don't buy this product. The fan and aluminum base quality is good. But plastic quality is very low. There is a plastic part that holds the hinge at a different height. That part is brittle and it broke off. The plastic quality, as well as the design, is very bad and it is kind of useless for me right now. The fan works but I can't adjust the laptop height/angle to my favorite position. So I would say Don't buy. I will try to contact customer care if they can help/replace it (because it may also happen because of an initial quality issue). The product received is not in good packaging, however, the product was not damaged. My 17-inch Dell gaming laptop (a pretty heavy one) sits comfortably and there is no flex. The design is good and the fan is ultra-quiet. I barely hear the fan. There was a thumping sound coming from the fan for a brief time period during my initial testing. Thought of returning the product, but then it was gone when I reconnected it. However, the fan speed is low when compared to other products. It is adequate for normal use, but if you are a gamer this won't justify the amount you spend and this might not be adequate for cooling a gaming laptop. But I am still happy with my use case.

My laptop being old couldn't benefit from this.However, good quality product.

It is aluminium but has nothing to do with previous aluminium pads because the pad is very thin, it is even flexible and feels like plastic. other parts are very thin too, does not feel sturdy at all

My laptop was over heating and battery was swollen. Had to replace the batteries ultimately. After replacing the batteries was looking for a colling pad to keep my laptop cool and save battery energy. I purchased this colling pad after browing several products. I purchased Proffisy Aluminum Laptop Cooling Pad.It is a good product and does its job perfectly. Made up of good metal and colling generated by big fan is excellent. Happy that I made the right decision to purchae this product.
