Very rugged, durable, affordable, and heats up fast, holds heat well. Perfect as a deep frying pan, did hibachi in it, steamed and fried rice, and baked bread. The pre Seasoning on mine was expertly done, nothing sticks that won't rinse off with water, but I did put a minor coat of oil on myself the night before it's first use.

First run through yesterday with this new cast iron pot. It worked perfectly as I open fire cooked a soup in it hanging from a tripod. The handle is simple but appropriately designed for use with hooks for suspended cooking. It’s a solid piece of cookware I expect to use for many years. Very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a great product. I needed a large dutch oven for camping and this was just as good of a product as the more expensive name brand ones I looked into. Glad I took the risk of an unknown name brand and bought this. It saved me a lot of money and works just as well.

Very heavy. Provides stable heat for stews

The only drawback it has is its incredible weight. 23 pounds can become a real problem if you`re going hiking. But I don`t do it, I use this pot on my kitchen stove and it`s great. Yes, it takes quite a time to cook food in it but you don`t have to stay above watching: the food is basically melting inside this massive pot. My husband tried to use it in the open fire and since then I can`t win it back. Top quality iron product in any sense.

This Dutch oven is great for cooking over an open campfire and has enough capacity to cook for a large audience.

I baked a turkey in the Dutch oven and it was th most moist juicy turkey ever!!! The turkey didn’t stick and only took 2. 1/2 hours to cook
