Cheap, but I suppose that's why you buy it right? In all honesty, I use this amp every time I play my bass. Sounds fine, it gets kinda loud if you want it too, very simple. Being battery powered is also nice. Allows me to play anywhere without an outlet. Love it.

Good value for this product. Wasn't expecting much but it handled my active acoustic bass guitar with good tone and no problems. The overdrive switch gives a pretty ugly distortion but maybe that's a matter of preference, and it would be better for an electric bass. I love that it has a power supply too. I don't know if it will eat batteries but that's still better than a rechargeable micro amp because when you need to keep going you can swap out the batteries in this unit. I think for a passive bass it very well might eat batteries because you have to turn up the volume and gain. Can't comment on longevity. At first glance, well worth the money!

This was for my older daughter to use with the bass I gifted her. It seems pretty sturdy and is compact and light weight, but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. We only used it plugged up to the wall so I can't speak for the battery life, but it does fit well in her smaller bedroom. For a younger kid this would work but my daughter has been in band for several years and I should have sprung for something a bit pricier.

THE SOUND IS AMAZING.

I was really hopeful for this little amp, but was let down for the following reasons:1. Much more beige than what I saw on the site.2. A lot of feedback and static. I tested my guitar and cable on other amps and did not have the problem.3. Terrible volume. With all settings at max the volume was low and would distort.4. Not rechargeable. I knew this going in, but figured if the amp performed well it would be an acceptable tradeoff, but considering 1 through 3, the fact that I have to put batteries in it became unacceptable.In conclusion, I found other smaller rechargeable amps that had more amplitude than this one at double the size and $15 - $20 more expensive.

This amp appears well-made, is very portable, and has adequate adjustments (tone control, etc.), but the sound is very tinny and has no punch, whatsoever. This is not surprising since it has a 5" speaker, but online reviews led me to believe otherwise.If you need something strictly for practice this will work fine, but don't purchase this to use for live performances; it simply won't do. Using the headphone output, I ran the amp through my computer sound system. It has a 10" sub and gave me the sound and depth I was looking for.

This is a fun little amp. Decent output. I bought cable thinking was going to be cheap quality, but it's a decent cable I use all the time. Feels solid. Would not hesitate buying
