Finally got around to installing this for my 2002 silverado. I had high hopes. The bezel needed some modifications to fit around the double din. There was some manufacturing defect. I installed the doubling exactly where it should be mounted but the bezel was slightly off about half inch . I had to shave it down to make the double din fit. One side of the double din had plenty of room but the other side would not fit. Needed to shave off about half inch on the driver side of hole for double din to fit. So now one side has a normal gap and the passenger side has about half inch gap. It is what it is. You know what they say you get what you pay for. I was also missing 1 of the metal retainers and yes they are Hella loose compared to the stock bezel. I will post photos when I get a chance. ********UPDATE ****** 8.7.25seller reached out and made things right.gotta give them respect for that. Bumping up to 5 stars for customer service.

Good for the price.Wish it came with the little screws that go into the radio and the clips could be better. Solid. Will buy again for my other 10 Chevys

The install was a little difficult to install. The clips are junk don’t even use them. You need to get the old clips and transfer them to the dash kit. But then it just clips right in and fitment isn’t bad at all. One issue I’ve noticed from it being installed it also starts to peel a white film which makes the appearance gross. So I’d recommend removing the film beforehand. But for the money it’s worth it.

Now the little pins or whatever they’re called that it comes with our cheap so reuse the factory ones all it takes is a pair of needle nose, pliers to pull them off the old one

Installed this into my 2002 Chevy Avalanche!! Fit almost perfectly, had to play a little with the stereo brackets/dash kit to get the right fit BUT it made my truck look like an OEM look with a double din. Clips were a fear of mine but was ready to use my original ones BUT they did the job, keeps the dash in place although it may be annoying when taking the dash off since they do not come off with the dash and gets stuck on the trucks dash. No issues getting pliers and removing them.

This arrived wrapped in bubble wrap inside a box. I wasn’t ready to install my new stereo yet, so this part sat on the shelf for about 4 months (over winter). When I did get a chance to swap out my stereo, I grabbed the new, still in the original packaging, dash cutout replacement. I was very disappointed to see that the coating/matte paint was peeling off! When I notified the company and explained that I just took it out of their packaging, they said there was nothing they could do except offer me $10 off another one!?!? Why would I buy another piece of crud? Keep looking, there are other ones out there sold by companies that will stand behind their products!
