Best thing since sliced bread
This is a thousand times better than the metal bowl that comes with the KitchenAid mini stand mixer. It has made such a huge difference. It's heavy, the handle is wonderful and makes it so easy to manage, you can see what you're doing. I'm so glad I spent the money on this. Some have mentioned that the bowl cracks, I have had no problems and it's possible that they are mishandling possibly not placing it on the stand mixer correctly or not releasing it correctly. Or possibly they got a defective bowl. But, I highly recommend.

Visible and durable
Durable but heavy. Beautiful clear glass for visible mixing. Securely locks on to Kitchen Aid mixer’s base. Love it.

I bought a mini KA stand mixer with a metal bowl in October from the kitchen aid website. I didn’t know that a glass bowl was optional. It wasn’t offered at KA.com. I bought the stainless steel whisk, paddles and dough hook on amazon and then this glass bowl popped up recently. I just received it and am really pleased with it and my mini mixer.**Bonus** I didn’t read deep into the details, the bowl comes with a lid. Woo-Hoo!! 🥳

Great addition
Fits right and works great. Nice companion if another stainless bowl is not necessary or measurements would be nice. Possibly holds a chill better than thin steel.

Love the glass!
I enjoy using glass when making certain items in my mixer to see if all the ingredients have been incorporated. I also like storing batter in the glass as opposed to metal. It also makes for a much easier whipping of egg white with meringue when using glass. Very happy with this item.

I made a mistake
i read the reviews before buying. Wondering if this bowl had the hump in the bottom. Review said it did not. Not true. That was the only reason I bougt the glass bowl. I will be returning. I do not understand the design of this hump that keeps ingredients from mixing properly. I would rather have to scrape sides than mid bottom. Although those who wrote it doesn't fit were also wrong. It fits nicely.
