Paris: A Photographic Collection By Valentina Esteley: A Stylish Decorative Coffee Table Book: Stack Decor Books On Coffee Tables And Bookshelves For Contemporary And Modern Interior Design. Paperback – March 15, 2021

I bought this to use as decor on a book shelf and it turned out so great. It’s a beautiful large book with a paperback cover. I don’t know if there is all that much to take in when reading it, but it does the job of simply looking pretty, and it was an affordable way to decorate!

I bought this as a coffee table book and since I am going with black and white colors this worked well. It’s soft cover and I have not gone through it yet but so far it looks pretty decent.

This review is my opinion alone.The photographs in this book look like they were taken by someone in grade school. Let's just hold up the camera and click. No real composition in any of the photographs. Extremely amateurish to say the least. Most of the photographs are, blurry,muddy and or are grainy. If this is what she was going for well then BRAVO!Buyer beware. This is NOT a coffee table book you want out front and center for others to reach for.

The photography in this book isn't quite as inspiring as I thought it would be. It honestly appears like a collection of tourist-y snapshots taken by an amateur photographer that were all converted to grayscale. There's also no accompanying text to the images that provides any additional context or personal insights of the photographer. Oddly, there are several lined pages at the end of the book for "notes". The print quality also isn't the greatest, and many images in the copy I received have vertical banding (as if printed with an inkjet printer in need of cleaning). Still, I'm not going to bother going through the trouble of returning/exchanging a $14 book I purchased with the intent of using as a piece of decor. And, to be fair, the back cover literally states that it's mostly meant to be a decorative object anyway. In that respect it does serve its purpose and its matte black cover is a nice complement to the other books I've paired it with.

Strangers book I have ever viewed. The whole thing is full of out of focus and grainy pictures. Looks like someone stood at an old photocopier and made copies of old pictures of Paris and glued them into a book. I love the cover and it looks cool in my book case.
