The size Small is perfect for our corgi. Fits great, not too heavy or bulky for his short legs and long body. We’ve had it for over a year and still looks brand new.

Purchased a large for an ~85lb lab who lives for the water. He was unfazed with it on and didn’t seem to inhibit his swimming ability. Did however seem to help him stay a little bit more above the water so his head was higher and he could breathe a little easier. Would recommend!

Fits wonderfully. I do have to remove my dog's collars' when putting the life jacket on, but her collars aren't waterproof, so they come off anyway! We've tested it in the bathtub but not the pool yet, and so far, it's working great!

After getting him from a shelter back in October, I quickly realized he couldn't wade far into water before becoming petrified of not being able to feel the ground. He couldn't swim to save his life even when he was brave enough to try :( After he practiced with this vest for about 3 days, he got the hang and now can piggy-paddle like a pro! Just today he got the hang of "flowing" with the water in deep areas while we'd walk up the river. He didn't need to find the bank, he could just swim through. The vest has held up to rigorous outdoor use, including his breaks on the bank running through tall weeds, sticks and up against rock. It goes with us whenever we head to the water. Light weight, fits perfectly. Fully suggest you invest in this item!

It’s on the expensive side, but it fits my French Bulldog perfectly and it’s worth the money.

I don’t usually leave reviews on products, but I am pretty upset about what happened to the lifejacket that I just started using. It’s gonna be kind of a long review but it’s worth reading. I bought this life jacket last year during the summertime and just started using it this past weekend because my pup has felt more comfortable going into the water using this lifejacket it got extremely dirty And I just wanted to have it get a good clean so I asked on the page of this post if you could put this lifejacket in the washing machine and within minutes, I got people replying to my comment and saying yes you can put this in the washing machine on a gentle or cold water cycle so I said OK cool I’ll do it. Another thing to keep in mind. People had also told me not to put it in the dryer. Let the air dry so I said OK easy enough. It’s hot outside. When the cycle got done, I went to go get the lifejacket and it completely destroyed it as you can see in the photo and the foam is all over the washing machine inside and out along with the other materials that were made in the lifejacket is now all over my washing machine so if you thought about washing your dogs, life jacket in the washing machine this is your sign to not do that because Even though this unfortunate thing happened to my jacket, I am unable to get a replacement or anything due to when I last bought this and these are not cheap so don’t put this in the washing machine. It will destroy it. !!!

The media could not be loaded. This is such a nice life jacket! My dog is a dock jumper and the cheaper jackets always came undone in the front when she jumps off the dock. The way this one is made, I don’t have to worry about it! She will swim all day with nearly no breaks and this jack seems sturdy enough to withhold years of lake days! It is a true investment and so worth the money. The life jacket was so good I ordered a water toy that is just as great so far and she loves it! I definitely plan on ordering more Ruffwear for this water lover 💕
