Excellenet purchase if you're looking for this kind of thing. I was and am pleased.

This isn't as sturdy as I would've liked, BUT I found a cardboard box that fit it nearly perfectly, so I cut off the few rows that didn't fit, and now it's perfect! It holds a fair amount, plus you can take out the spongey part for the small rocks that aren't flat. I'm glad I still have plenty of empty containers to fill in the future (as a rock collector and all). Definitely worth it.

I like it cause the color & size is perfect for my case but, 3 of the gem jars came with noticeable cracks on them. Would’ve been 5 stars if they all came in good condition.

I use these to hold all kinds of items for miniatures, including the clay food I make. They are the perfect size and are clear, so I can see what is in each. As you can see in the photo, I use them a lot.

I have one of those large drawer things for jewelry storage that fits standard jewelry trays (also bought here on Amazon) which I use for storage of my gemstones. This type of insert also fits perfectly so I have several of the drawers fitted with these for my smaller faceted gemstones and then I have sectioned trays for cabochons. These work well. The outside foam (not in the containers) does get slightly yellowed with exposure to air but it doesn't matter to me since I'm using it for storage, not display.

Perfect sized small gem containers. The foam isn’t the best but definitely holds up well enough and the lids actually snap on and stay secure.

I make jewelry and get in many stones as well as cut my own stones and I tell ya I love these. in buying these I can afford to give them to customers when they buy stones. They snap tight and are perfect storage for small to medium stones ..if you like big stones like me then this would not be the purchase for you...go bigger. but for tiny stones up to 2 ct this is great.
