Great Product - Highly Recommend.
I was amazed with this product. I sprayed 150 lbs of mason's sand with minimal problems and great results. I selected Mason's sand from Menards ($5.00) per bag as the sand was dried, uniform and without bigger pieces that are are common in tube and play sand. These bigger pieces WILL clog the spray head causing water to back feed into the sand supply. (I learned these tips by watching Youtube videos and I avoided many frustrating issues). I had three clogs when the sand stopped spraying, and I took sand supply tube off and blew it clear with compressed air. I was ready to go again in a few minutes. Before buying this product, I thought to use compressed air to sand blast. I learned of the significant dangers of sandblasting with compressed air and the PPE required to avoid injury from breathing silica and abrasions. The cost of the PPE alone was many times the cost of the water pressure system. I concluded that the pressure washer sand blaster system avoided the risk of breathing silica because the blasted silica is not airborne but is waterborne. The LOW price of the system and its being delivered within a day or two of ordering also make this a great product that I highly recommend.

It does work!
Absolutely love this thing! Super cheap and it's not for a full time operation but as far farm job stuff here and there it's totally worth the money. Blasted my boat trailer frame for about 20$ worth of play sand so has already paid for it's self.Key notes others have also stated1- must be quality play sand with the fine particles not the tube stuff.2- has to be dry so you need to check the bags at the store, most are stored outside at some point and get wet.3- when you start the blast you have to slowly lower the pickup tube while running it to get a steady flow going.4- you have to keep the sand inlet portion of the spray novel vertical at all times to avoid water getting into it. So not ideal for crazy angles.Once you figure it out works amazingly for the price and honestly I don't think you could even buy the materials for this super simple design for close to what this costs to make yourself. Highly recommend.

Wow!!! This thing is impressive. But needs a modificaiton.
I wasn't expecting much. I found this while looking for a good sandblaster so I figured I would try it. I thought it was going to take hours to blast rust off an equipment trailer. I was done in a 45 minutes. My power washer is a big one, 6HP, 3600 psi so that helped but it still wiped out the rust. One note however... It uses A LOT of sand. I put a small orifice over the end of the pickup to slow the flow of sand down a bit but it is still using more sand than a normal sandblaster. Slowing the sand flow down did not slow down how fast it was taking the rust off. I think a metering valve would be a good addition to control the flow of sand a bit better.

good value and well made
It appears to be well made. It is super easy to assemble.

Didn’t work for me.
2100psi pressure washer, sucked sand in the tube, worked great for 1 sec and suction stopped. Would not continue to suck any sand. Jabbed and prodded the sand to no avail. I thought the sand had too much moisture and so I dried the sand in the oven. Wife loved that. lol So with perfectly dry sand and a fresh start, did the same thing. If you can get it to work, that one second was great but it’s a no for me.

Works excellent
At the price I was super skeptical but the product works really good and is a lot more durable than I thought it would be. The package comes with everything you need. I used it with walnut medium and it worked better than I thought taking bottom paint off a boat. No need to spend 3 times for the brand name one. I am very satisfied.

Trying to work ?
So I’ve tried different type of pressure washers. Electric 1800psi, 2600 psi gas 3100 psi gas and 4200 psi gas … it’s more of a pain to use than expected, media tube fills with water , and suction isn’t powerful enough to siphon it ..using the finest dry sand and not working..what to do next ?

Works very well at a great price
Make sure you have a powerful pressure washer and use the correct medium. DON'T use playground sand for two reasons: it'll just get clogged up and possible silicosis of your lungs. You need a pressure washer that moves a lot of water, don't just look at the PSI. I have a 4.2 gallon per minute pressure washer and used coal slag and this thing absolutely DESTROYED paint and rust! Only drawback is you will have a LOT of cleanup to do, as the material gets all over the place. You'll also go through a heck of a lot of material, too. Just taking the paint and rust off our ornate steel driveway gate took around 10 bags of coal slag. I was able to recover about 4 bags worth with a shovel, scraping it off the driveway once I was done. Still, this method is way better than any alternative I can think of, unless you have a massive bank account to buy one of those $10,000+ dollar awesome laser cleaning devices.
