Replacement Impeller for SUNSUN Aquarium Canister Filter (HW302/HW402B)

I was cleaning my sunsun canister filter out. I had trouble pulling out the impeller due to the strong magnet and then the ceramic spindle broke. I was in a panic, thinking I’d have to buy a whole new canister filter. But I’m so glad to find this exact match to perfect fit! It saved me money! And easily just popped in. I didn’t notice any reduction in flow at all.

After a recent clean and replacing of some filter media, existing impeller had gotten annoyingly noisy. What a difference this new impeller made. Pump is now quieter than it's ever been.

I have the same model of filter I bought back in 2015, still running alright, however the impeller broke, so I tried to replace it, but it doesn’t quite fit the same as the original, the inner pole is slightly longer.It’s working fine for now, but I’m not sure how long it will last with the improper fit.

This impeller didnt fit even thought the packaging says it fits exactly what I have, the picture is not what i received either. Unfortunately I didnt get around to changing out the old impeller right away and my return period expired, BEWARE of the item.

Not much to say........absolutely identical replacement for original part. Restored filter to proper working order. Completely satisfied.

I got the wrong impeller. The magnet rod was a little too big. The pin that hold the impeller came in 2 pieces instead of one whole piece. Now the impeller sometimes won't spin because the impeller is too big, it gets stuck touching the wall of the motor magnet.Gave it another try and purchase another impeller. I finally got the right now and I added it to my list so I can buy again later on. Works 100% for HW-402BUpdate 2: It rattles like a Mother Flower..... Whatever I do, it rattles. It's not just because of the impeller. Both the HW-402b and the Impeller is just bad design.
