Portable Cordless Circular Saw
It's good as advertised!

Powerful saw for it's size
I bought this for my son, who does maintenance- and battery powered tools are necessary. It was a good price for the saw, be was very happy with it, and it's been working well for him. It's not going to compete with your Skilsaw of course, but for simple cuts on 2x's and plywood it's fine, and we all know what a pain finding power and running cords is!

Best circular saw in the world.
Being a contractor, Ive been converting to battery powered tools. I got stuck with Milwaukee, so kinda stayed with their line of tools. Not any more. All they're good for are their M18 line of fuel batteries.I lugged around their circular saw for a few months. Then borrowed a clients Ryobi. How can similar tools be so universally different. There's no comparison. Ryobi is so far ahead. This little circular saw with us wee like blade cuts circles around Milwaukee. And some.I can't believe how fast, easy, light, precise, quiet, perfect this little circular saw is. And it cuts thru anything.I was installing butcher block kitchen counter top for a customer. It needed to be perfect.Got out my Milwaukee.6 inches in, it slowed and started having issues.Grabbed the Ryobi out of desperation.Hadn't tested it yet, so was unsure.Huh, it breezed thru the butcher's block like butter, and wanted more. The only hiccup is it's saw protector keeps getting in the way. But with a Milwaukee M18 fuel cell, unstoppable. One fifth the price too.

Quickdraw Cuts From The Hip
Sometimes I don't wanna grab the the 15lb worm drive + extension cord + find some power, and this Ryobi Cordless Circular Saw can be whipped out in a flash for lighter cuts. The power is acceptable considering how convenient, light and nimble this tool is. While it isn't a framing workhorse, it gets into some weird situations where a full size can't reach. (deep in a corner, upside down, balancing on one foot fully extending out into the abyss)I've had many Ryobi cordless tools and haven't had any bad ones fail to poor build quality through the years. As with all carpentry tools, a good blade makes a huge difference. I haven't used the included Ryobi one.

Creates new uses because it's light weight and portable
I paid full price for this item. I love it. Yes, it's small. Yes, it's weak. Yes, it only cuts a couple inches thickness. But there is/are dozens of different blade types. The grips are the right size and have ergo placement, making the saw easy to use. It runs on batteries. It runs a LONG time on batteries. I've been using it while landscape grooming, to cut 1" to 2" branches. It works great at any angle. And I feel safe using it with one hand. The motor is not strong enough to jerk the saw from my hand when the blade binds. Even when using one hand only. This is good behavior. If I dropped this one (like, from a tree) and broke it, then I would immediately buy another. It's THAT useful.

Love this saw!
Great light weight easy to use saw. I have smaller hands and can’t grip a bigger saw and this fits my hand perfectly. Durable and tough little saw!

Not a toy
Unbelievable power and cutting ability. Lightweight, but hang on tight. Better than expected.
