Texas Instruments 30XIIS/TKT Calculator Teachers Kit

The calculator works great. It does everything I need it to do, however the screen is slightly annoying. The viewing angles are bad and you have to be looking directly at the screen to see the numbers. While this would be great if you did not want others to know what numbers you are typing in, practically it hinders the usability of the calculator.

It does what it says on the tin. Some operations are a bit complicated. Doing statistics one has to remember that only ca. 49 values are stored! It’s good value for money, though.

It's a scientific calculator and does just that, calculates. It has everything needed for 7th and 8th grade middle school. The Red stands out more so not to get mixed up with other students. No Requirements for this not being able for college campuses. It handled being thrown around for a year.Another calculator don't as I brought 2 for easy use of buttons for a 7th grader. That calculator broke on the screen. This Red one can take the hits from what I seen. It has a face cover that comes with it to protect the screen. Well done as it works!

The school packs come in the dark blue. The red makes them easier to see as you leave competitions and they match our school colors. Overall the calculator works great. The solar power makes it so you don't have to buy coin batteries and this calculator can take a backpack beating. Have bought it several times and given it to kids. Highly recommend for chemistry and physics class so the kids don't get used to the crutch of graphing calculators or the dumb buttons "nsolve".

this lacks nothing for the 6th grade. you can feel its not as good as the high school calculators. its not meant to be. very good for now but not top of line. I would buy it again in a second.
