Awesome for Snake Eater Cosplay – Solid Quality!
Picked up the Rothco camo pants for a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater cosplay and it’s perfect. The camo pattern is super close to Snake’s jungle fatigues, and the fit is just right for that tactical look. Durable material, lots of pockets, and it holds up great during cons or photoshoots. Highly recommend for any Big Boss fan!

Well made.
They are well made. They are not rip stop material. I have worn this particular camo and material for years. That brand didn't make my length. I always wore a large/long with a perfect waist size. Didn't have to sinch up the waist straps, just wore a belt as I do with any style of pants. These are actually long enough. I should have gone with my instincts and got Rothco's large/long, but because of some of the reviews and Amazon's advice to go xl in the waist, I did. Too big! I pulled the waist straps tight and tied a square knot as the sinch straps never hold. I have ordered one pair of the large/long and hope they are perfect. If so, I will order many more as these are my favorite pants. I am 6'6", 234 lbs, 36-38" waist and require a 36 inch inseam. Good luck.UPDATE: The large/long are too tight. Inseam is great, about 36 inches.

Excellent quality
I ordered several pairs of these pants in varying colors about 2 years ago. I wear them daily for work in a factory/warehouse environment. They've held up great, I'm considering getting a couple more pairs so I don't have to do laundry as often. They're a little stiff at first but quickly soften up after a few washings. I first heard about them from a friend who's had a pair for probably 10+ years (although he doesn't wear them as much).Pros: They're incredibly comfortable, fit is great - the breathability is great in the summer heat and they're enough of a relaxed fit that I can layer thermals under them in the winter. Pockets are nice and roomy (though that could be me being used to women's pockets lol).Cons: A couple minor things, 1. the camo ones the pattern is printed on whatever the lighter color is and the dye does fade over time. No completely bald spots even on my friend's that he's had forever, but they do definitely take on a "weathered" look eventually. I haven't had this issue with my solid colors. 2. I have one pair that must have slipped through a quality check or something, when I first got them they had some loose thread ends sticking out that I had to trim here and there. Seams have otherwise stayed solid. The same pair has so far in 2 years had 2 buttons come off, and a 3rd is getting loose. Easy enough to sew buttons back on so I don't mind, and again, none of my other pairs have had any issues so I think it's just a fluke with this one pair.Overall, 5 stars, regularly recommend them to my coworkers and customers!

Size up or be sorry
I have size 34 pants and all of them are baggy on me where I could use a belt. I ordered medium which is 31-35 waist. These are actually about 32 waist with the strap all the way out. I can't even button the top button. Not even close to a size 35 (which should be too big on me). Also the main advantage of military pants is the gusseted crotch which makes it easy to do kicks, splits or any kind of movement. These are kind of gusseted but oddly tight in the crotch for military pants- maybe its because the whole thing is too small. Then at the legs they are a big long. If I ordered a size up they would have been ok but the fit is weird. Definitely not standard military specs.Other than the sizing being way off and the design only half way similar to BDU specs- the material and workmanship seems to be of good quality- though there are threads hanging out in places- mass produced stuff. The camo coloring looks good. Made in china without any attention to detail in terms of the design and sizing. Who knows the pair you get might be too big but I'm guessing most of them run smaller than the stated size. For $35 they aren't bad at all. Normally military style pants are $50 or even $80. Actual real military pants I think aren't for sale to civilians but they used to have stuff you could buy that was basically the same thing. I haven't worn any for a really long time and here lately all I see are cheaper lower quality pants- not sure if they have the good ones any more. A good pair of military pants might cost $80 but they'll last six years whereas a normal pair of pants lasts six months- so they are actually economical. In this day and age I guess we are stuck with cheaper lower quality products.

Comfortable, tough, and non-faded Tiger Stripe!
I started using Vietnamese Tiger Stripe to hunt deer with starting last year and have ordered from the Rothco store on Amazon before. I will say it would behoove you to order pants sizes one above what you ordinarily wear so they fit comfortably, found that out the year before with another Rothco purchase. That said, these pants are wonderfully made and you can feel the difference while wearing these! Already wore these hunting this year so far and paired with a matching top with a little greenery to your back you will not be seen (save moving around obliviously but no camo can help conceal motion)! Highly recommend any of the products from the Rothco store on Amazon for quality product!
