Bought this set for my mother in law who loves to cook and was dealing with old, dull knives. Watching my MIL unbox her new set was awesome! She loves the weight of the knives and the steel handles. She also loves the magnetic knife holder that also comes with a cutting board.

Needed a new set so we purchased this when it was on sale. The set is very nice, sharp, and looks great on the counter. Love the block and that we don’t have to worry about knives falling off the magnetic holder because of the clear plastic front. Well designed and love the etching. Would purchase again.

Awesome knives and benefit of having cutting board too. We'll worth the money spent on them. Highly recommend .

Just as expected , love it

PROS:The knife block alone is amazing on this set. I absolutely love the acacia wood cutting board on the back that is MAGNETIC to attach to the block & the knives are held on magnetically to the back as well while the acrylic front showcases your knives. The bottom support of the knife block is thick stainless steel with a well padded foot that will not scratch your countertop. The acrylic front can be carefully removed with an Allen Key if you need to clean the inside of the block.I love the look of the knives themselves which have great balance. They are reasonably sharp, but not the sharpest knives I have used. The unibody construction is VERY nice for slicing up items like sushi and meats because there is no hidden crevices for food to get stuck in. They clean up very easily as well. The Damascus look to the knives is impressive and beautiful.CONS:The handles are slick and a little difficult to wield if your hands are WET. The handles being all metal provide little texture to give good grip or leverage when cutting hard items.OVERALL:This impressive set is made with Japanese steel, but is manufactured in China. The block is the best design I have seen and the cutting board is wonderful. The set is gift boxed impressively. Once sharpened, these knives hold their edge well. A solid four stars, would be five if the grip were not so slick with wet hands.I hope this review was helpful to your shopping.

The customer service on this set is fantastic. The knives themselves are incredible as well.Some knives have wooden handles which are basically an indicator that the knives days are significantly limited, however these are solid metal from base to tip, so they get the job done so much better.Overall with the great customer service and the knife set being as efficient as it is + the cutting board? It's a fantastic option in my opinion. Definitely would recommend these.
