Great Gum
I read other reviews that were negative. Here's my positive review. The black jack flavor was great, just how I remembered. A nice black licorice flavor. Even my kids like it. The flavor also lasted a long time. The gum did not disintegrate either. The clove gum was the same, however I couldn't take the flavor for nearly as long and had to spit it out. It was way too strong (just like it used to be). I didn't like it much as a kid, still don't as an adult.Maybe there is poor quality control, but I got a good batch. Mine was not expired. It is also made in Morocco.

Fond memories.
In 1955, my husband offered me a stick of Beeman's gum, just to get to talk to me. That was a love affair that never ended.

You'll either love them or hate them
I love the Blackjack and the Clove. Definitely unique and delicious flavors. That said I honestly dont know if I'm chewing "vintage" gum or gum that is vintage. They are dry as hell even in your mouth, I dont know if they've been using the same gum from back in the day or if this is how they taste being made in a factory in the 21st century. This will not appeal to everyone, in fact im not sure who I know personally I could actually recommend these to. Its nor gonna taste *bad* to regular gum chewers probably, it will just taste very bland compared to modern gum with sorbitol and other modern artificial flavors in them. This is not as sweet as modern gum, it is far drier, it wont wet your mouth like modern gum, and its taste lasts a hot minute before completely vanishing. Eventually if you chew it for more than 10 minutes or so it will become so tough that you will have to spit it out or hurt your jaw. That said, you arent likely to find a modern gum with a licorice flavor or clove flavor, so this definitely has its uniqueness going for it. I'd probably say unless you were actively searching for these, then they likely aren't for you. If you were scrolling through Amazon and this popped up on your screen sight unseen, then I'd say its safer to just skip it.

The good old days, weren't.
I just found out about Black Jack gum and thought, "I like black licorice and I like gum, so this should be good." It wasn't.The Black Jack smells great but it has minimal flavor that doesn't last. It's like they showed it to some licorice flavor and hoped that it would magically be imbued with deliciousness.Clove is the strongest flavor in the assortment and it's also the least enjoyable. It still doesn't last for more than 30 seconds.Beechmans is the best flavor, I *think* that it's wintergreen. It tastes like weak Pepto Bismol.Teaberry is minty/cinnamony but very weak.Overall, I'll stick with Wrigley's or Trident. At least their flavor lasts.
