Made of plastic, lightweight for kids use.
Looks and feels high quality, even though it is made of plastic. Water flow is excellent for a handheld shower. Lightweight and easy for kids to use.

Good value, as described
Shower heads eventually just don't deliver water the way they used to, and I was ready to replace the Grohe unit that I had already replaced in 2014 a few years after buying my condo. I decided to give this much cheaper Kohler a try, and I'm pretty happy with it. The three spray patterns are exactly as described, but the best part is that you can get more than three distinct patterns in between the clicks. My favorite is just off the first setting on the way to the middle "drench" one. I got the 1.75gpm unit for water saving, yet it feels like it delivers more than the old one, so I'm very pleased.Yes, it's very lightweight and might not stand up to vigorous family use, but that's not an issue for me. It installed easily on my existing hose and fits into the adjustable holder on the vertical bar already in my shower. The chrome "color" looks great. I didn't give it 5 stars because I feel like it could be a bit more ergonomic to hold, and I wish the whole design had a bit more of a curve to it like the Grohe, but for the price and water flow, this Kohler is a worthy replacement.
