Funko POP Movies: Flash Gordon Action Figure - Emperor Ming

I love Funko pop figures. You would think a piece of plastic sitting on my desk at work would not do much, but it does. Reminds of my youth and why I work so hard to buy the little things that make you happy. Flash Gordon is a great movie. I loved it has a teenager and puts a smile on my face when I look at it.

Another awesome Funko Pop vinyl figure. Funko Pop never fails to deliver a great and unique design to classic characters we have come to love.Being a big fan of the 1980 Flash Gordon film, I was ecstatic to discover the Funko Pop of Emperor Ming the Merciless as played by Max Von Sydow in the film. Great detail and heavier than your typical Funko Pop figure.A must for Flash Gordon fans, would make an awesome gift!

I love this figure! The solid bottom makes him one of the sturdiest Pop's I own (second only to the Dalek). And as always it's the little details that make this Pop...well, pop! The gold ring on his finger, the beard (which is a separate piece, not molded as part of the head) is even fairly detailed, with strands of hair carved into it. I am a fan of the 80s Flash Gordon movie, and this is the best figure in that bunch from Pop! Awesome!

My daughter collects these POP! figures. I like Flash Gordon so it was great to give her this for her birthday. I figure that when she eventually moves out and leaves her "childish things" behind this might be one of the forgotten items and I'll get to add it to my own collection. "Hail Ming!"

Awesome detail!! I set this up on my desk at work, and I get a lot of compliments about how cool it is. Most adults still want to be kids, and this figure is a portal back to those bright years of imagination and wonder.
