Feels like what I had in the army in 2012
Uncomfortable, rugged, and decently made. Would protect a rapid descent to ground level 100%. Just how I remember army gear. Would buy again

Alta quality as expected. Elbow pads are always a pain but these are at least wearable.
Alta is always good stuff and these are better than other elbow ones I have tried especially if your arms are on the larger side as the Alta lok will stay fastened unlike Velcro. Still wish they had put the rubber on the upper section inside to prevent slipping like their knee ones and a bit more length up top would be nice for keeping the elastic out of your joint for bigger arm guys.

Connection point should both be on the out side
Must be defective or just horrible designed? Bought because how they secured and looked fairly breathable. Issued ones suck. The hook and button appeared to be more secure and noiseless. Main thing not made with Velcro. Only problem the attachment points are both to the right. Right leg is fine with connection point to the outside and actually comfortable with or without additional padding on the knee. Left leg attachment points are on the inside! Tried the left upside down but not comfortable at all and barley enough strap to connect above the knee without added protection. Did I get two right leg ones or just piss poor design? Have a hard time believing they are made that way. Already snagged up on the inside one and almost face planted. If you have to move quickly beware. Will be returning ASAP junk!
