I wrote a very negative review (see below) when I first tried these. And now I am back with an update:About 8 months ago I went to a high-protein, very-low-carb diet after bariatric surgery. Knowing my propensity for craving baked sweets, I ordered these muffins. And initially I was very disappointed. I gave some of them away and left a few sitting on my shelf, just in case.Then I learned a BIG LESSON in law-carb eating:What nobody had bothered to tell me is that while your body and taste buds adapt to your new low/no sugar lifestyle, almost EVERYTHING you try to replace your original loves with will taste yucky. And these were no exception.Then... Last week I was looking for something to kill my evening snack carb cravings and decided "What the hell, better than wasting them" and grabbed one off my shelf.Damn!! I was sooo very happy that I'd kept some for myself. Immediately my cravings were crushed and my taste buds were more than happy.EVERY flavor I had left is now gone and I am ordering more.I apologize to BOOTYLICIOUS for the negative review before. It was undeserved. I am so thankful that I have a reason and opportunity to correct it.*** ORIGINAL 0 STAR REVIEW:***I've gotten used to things not always looking like the pictures despite proper care and preparation. And I know that products adjusted toward the Keto guidelines rarely taste like the original.But this disappointment goes waaaaay beyond those factors.First one I prepared was the Cinnamon Roll. I carefully measured the 1/4 cup of water, stirred well and watched it like a hawk while it was in the microwave.Well, watching it cook wasn't too easy... While the photos show puffy goodness overcoming the sides of the container, seeing the food from outside the microwave was impossible because the final product comes nowhere near the top of the container. I had to repeatedly stop the microwave to check progress with a toothpick.Overcoming the disappointment over the size/amount/appearance of the final product, the aroma was very inviting. My mouth was watering with anticipation.I sooooo very much wanted the taste to match the aroma. But once again I was disappointed.In my first bite I encountered an odd, almost-eggy texture that offered a strange mouth feel making me uncertain if it was too moist or too dry.And the flavor... very much too minimal. Just not enough flavor-induced satisfaction and joy to overcome the odd texture. The extracts and spices need to be multiplied at least 10 fold.Unfortunately, as I've continued in an effort to try each flavor in the box and assess them individually, I've been met with virtually the same experience each time. I've even tried using a teaspoon more or less of water, bottled water vs tap water, different microwaves etc. None of these actions positively altered the end result. Same strange texture. Same lack of flavor.Maybe I should've tried the more-expensive "Bear" brand muffins instead. Instead I chose to support small business and liked what I read about the offerings.Sorry, I won't be reordering and certainly can't recommend.

THIS WAS NOT A PACKAGE OF A VARIETY OF MUFFINS. IT WAS A VARIETY OF MUFFIN MIXES THAT YOU HAVE TO ADD OTHER INGREDIENTS TO AND THEN MIX AND BAKE. YOU MAKE YOUR OWN MUFFINS!

Glad that Biscuit order was delivered on 5/20/25. I now have more of a variety of food to cook or microwave for myself and do not have to eat at outside business.

The tastes and macros for these are way better than the kodiak ones. These are a little more on the pricey side but for a quick breakfast and great quality I would recommend. I purchased this variety pack, which is a little more expensive than just a one flavor set, but I wanted to try all the flavors and then reorder the flavors I did like. Only gave it 4 stars because of the price and a couple of the flavors tasted the same or tasted a little plane. Still recommend though if you are looking for protein muffins this one has the best macros!

I'm a nurse that works 12+ hours. My lunch is unpredictable, I could be going to lunch as early as 12 or as late as 4. With that being said, I eat mostly fats and proteins during a shift, to keep the hunger at bay. These taste great. I like some flavors better than others, but that's the point of the variety pack - to find the flavors you like. I only use milk to make these, and the microwave time depends on your microwave so anyone complaining it didn't come out right didn't follow instructions and adjust the time for their individual microwave. They taste great, they are soft, texture is just like a muffin in a cup. Nothing to complain about, I love these.

Cons:I do agree with the other reviews that the majority of these are severely lacking on flavor.And I also agree that the pictures provided by company makes it seem like you are getting alot more powder/content in the cup than you really are. (False advertisement)Pros:The smell of these protein cups are good. The taste of the bday cake, blueberry muffin, and cinnamon bun are very good..others again are lacking. (See above comment) the calories on these cups are way less than any other protein muffin cup that I found which is impressive and allows me to stay within my calorie count and macro counts. The banana and chocolate cups do lend for me to add my greens powder to them (not that makes it any better, maybe even worse!)(but I can still taste a hint of banana or chocolate even with a greens powder, so thats a plus..lol). Also, due to the protein amount of these cups, I stay full for a long time! The price point on these cups also lends to me putting them on a subscription every 2 weeks!If this company could improve the taste of the banana and chocolate cups...it would be a 5 star review.

I really wanted these to work out, but unfortunately the taste and texture were so awful that it made me feel sick. I couldn’t even finish a few bites before I threw it out. My husband couldn’t stand the texture either. Since they only offer bulk quantity purchase, unfortunately we took a risk that didn’t pay off because we can’t return it now. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is it was cool that you could easily cook in the microwave and get a muffin-like look to it. I wouldn’t recommend.
