High quality fitting with colour coded wiring
Take your time when connecting the new pigtail. The replacement unit comes with a FULL set of wires and you may not need to use them all. There are two sets of CAN bus wires (Lo CAN and high CAN) to connect and they should be twisted together. I always solder and heat shrink the wires and stagger them in position them re-wrap and cover the loom with protective plastic sleeve.

Does NOT fit a 6L80 transmission
This connector does NOT fit a GM 6L80. I read a review from someone else who said it didn't fit and thought it might be a fluke - but sure enough this is NOT the correct connector. Fortunately, I ordered a different one from another Amazon vendor and it was correct.

Fix for U0101 code
I had a 2015 Silverado 1500 with a 6L80e that was throwing a U0101 code. The wires that connected to the plug were split. This plug fixed the problem. The plug does 100% fit a 6L80e you just have to put it together right. The plastic ring has to be snaped on all the way back when you put it together.

Not sure what it will fit, but 100% guarantee what I received will NOT work for a GM 6L80e or 6L90e. It screws in, but is way to short. Not what was pictured in the description of the plug.

Worked for a while but the heat from the headers caused the insulation melt away.
