The only hats I wear now - Big heads
My whole life everyone has always told me I have had a big head. I like hats, but finding a good one is hard. I preferred the look of fitted, but even the larger sizes would leave a little red mark across my forehead. The trend has moved away from them, anyway, and back to snapbacks. I've always had to use snap backs with the last two buttons as the only security because they are made for average size heads. Even XL versions have a similar issue and it just looks goofy. The Melin A Game XL I have at all but 1 button on the snap back and the hat itself has a little bit of stretch that it allows room for a good fit without a tight squeeze. So, no red marks, no goofy looking huge gaps around the enclosure, it's just good. The price seems high, but I think it's worth it. I have them in the all white, all black, and gray with black brim. I sweat a lot and go through white fairly easily before it doesn't wash well anymore. I also get my hands fairly dirty and readjust the hats as I sweat. I am honestly shocked that this is as clean as the day I bought it and I haven't washed it once. I haven't even dunked it in water to test the cooling of it. All 3 of my hats, which I wear 1 of the 3 daily, are in the same condition. It feels lightweight despite being a XL, it doesn't move at all either with all the windows down and the sunroof open.I have to work hard to nitpick anything about these hats. If I had to try, the logo placement on the underside of the brim is a built in "finger guard" or whatever you want to call it. When you grab your hat it's supposed to be a good placement for where your thumb goes to prevent getting it dirty. I have never once put my thumb where they located it to adjust my hat, I grab much further forward. But still, even where I do grab, no marks.

Honestly, worth the splurge.
This is one of my favorite snapbacks ever. I unfortunately, quite literally, have a big head and that makes it difficult to find caps that fit well. The Melin A-Game comes in XL thankfully and I love the way it looks, feels, and its resistance to both sweat and stains. It's super breathable and comfy to wear for a round of golf or a day at the beach. I've tried dupes before before, but the quality is honestly different. The only thing I'd change on this is the price... $69 is a lot to pay for a cap. But I have a feeling this one is going to hold up for a long long while.

Great for surfing! It really floats!
The color is spot on. It is waterproof and it floats. Excellent shape retention. My favorite to wear when I surf on 3ft and below conditions with moderate energy. You do have to hold it on your head when you wipe out or when there's a huge wave paddling out. It's true to size. If you have a small head, get small. I bought a medium and I have to snap it one snap pass the norm. I would not buy it for regular price though. I waited for when it was on sale. It is not value for the money for regular price. Highly recommend if you get it on sale.

well made product
I ordered this hat to try something new. I tend to perspire heavily while working on projects in the garage, so this hat was purchased due to their purported moisture wicking ability and quality construction. In the last month or so i have not yet noticed a sweat ring on the brim, which is a pleasant surprise. The camo pattern is also quite fetching.

Short/narrow awkward bill and crushed in shipping
First issue is that the hat arrived crushed and lopsided from being shipped in an envelope!?! Even though the Melin protective bag has a big ol’ sticker that reads “Please ship in box”, Amazon shipped it in an envelope. (See images)Second issue is that the bill is unusually short and narrow. It looks awkward (kind of like you’re wearing a kid-sized hat) when worn. I added pictures comparing the bill size to a traditional New Era brand baseball cap. I wear a 7 1/4 fitted, so I don’t have a huge head. The bill size and height of the crown just do not look like they go together. (See images)Aside from that, it’s a nice material and sharp finish. Didn’t wear it longer than 1 minute so I can’t speak to other aspects of the comfort and durability.I wanted to love it and expected muuuuuch more care for a $70 hat. It wasn’t to be.

Way to big
The hat seems to be made out of great material. I did not get a chance to test it out. It is so big I couldn’t even wear it on a smaller setting without it looking weird.

The almost perfect hat... for a price.
This isn't my first melin hat and won't be my last.I've tried everything and I came back to the ridiculous price, and yes even the knockoffs. After a long time ownership (my oldest is at least 2 years old) these are the only problems I have.1. The "water proof coating" is more or less a gimmick after a few washes but I think it helps the hat stay looking clean longer when it's new.2. The little logo on the side will eventually fall off and could benefit from being sewed on like the one on the brim.3. Once it wrinkles or creases it's hard to straighten back out even with steam.Even with these drawbacks it outlasts any other hat I've had and it's not even close to the point where it's cheaper on paper to have one or two expensive hats that last way longer. The $70 price tag is really hard to swallow but i got my most recent one on sale for $50. Regardless of what you pay it will always feel too expensive for a baseball cap but I can't say I regret it.

Great hat, right now is the best I have owned
I have alot of hats. This one is definitely the best. The material is very nice and the fit is exceptional. It is more expensive than most but worth it. The only issue I have is the hat is so nice I don't want to wear it during my toughest outings, like playing tennis in the heat and humidity of Houston. The hat just seems too nice for this. I will wear everywhere else :)
