Q: Is this easy to install? ...and is it asystem that could be disconected to take to new home if need be?

It is easy if you know how to work with PVC plumbing. I you add quick connect PVC ends to the filter system, then you can replace it with a "straight pipe" and take the filter system with you.

Q: Will this product work for well water?

Yes but the sediment filter will probably need to be changed twice as often as the other two filters. We have a city water supply and the sediment filter gets dirty faster than the other two.

Q: How much do replacement filters cost?

Filters vary in price depending on the specific filter and where you get it. I found the best deals on Amazon. The system description tells you what kind of filters they put in each slot on their system. Pre filter- fine filter and carbon filter.
