I'm allergic to gluten so these are my replacement for Girl Scouts Thin Mints. I caution against ordering April to September as they'll ship them in a foam box with a single use cold pack. I get why they do it but the environment impact is crazy and it's simply not necessary in September. They ship it from Kent to Seattle for me and it was just a waste of single use materials.

2/16/22 Update: Ordered again for the first time in ages. This order of twelve bars was delivered LOOSE in a cardboard--not original--packaging and the bars were so stale they were ROCK HARD and completely inedible. Won't order again.These were great - but be sure to check the expiration date! I ordered this box of the chocolate mint after having been given one in the hospital after recent surgery. I also ordered a box of assorted flavors : chocolate mint, peanut butter, and coconut something. The date on the chocolate mint box was six months or so away, and the bars were soft and tasted fresh. The assorted box, on the other hand, only had a month or so to go, and the bars had gotten drier and harder.When fresh, the chocolate mint is really good. Without the odd, artificial taste that a lot of 'diet', etc. bars have...which also means they taste like a treat, and were hard for me to keep in the house without eating them all!Since my experience with this single flavor was good, I probably will order this box again -- I think they'd make great take-along snacks for traveling.UPDATE: I ordered the chocolate mint several times, and loved them each time. BUT when I came today to order some more, I found that the price has now DOUBLED in the past few months, which is ridiculous. I won’t be buying anymore. (sigh)

I love this product. I am newly diagnosed diabetic. It is my go to snack, full of vitamins and minerals and stabilizes my sugar right away. I carry them in my car and purse. My favorite flavors are the mint and the peanut butter, but the other ones are good too.

As a nutritionist, I think this is a great product. Good snack between meals, and handy when I'm on the go. However, they are way too expensive at $30-$36 per box. I have found them at various Costco stores for $16-$20 (Los Angeles area), & I noticed another reviewer found them in their local Costco for $11. They carry both these and the thin mint flavor. I will be buying them there from now on.

I love everything about the dark chocolate mint Stabilyze bars! One of these protein bars & my cup of coffee keeps me going until lunchtime and even my doctor said this is a good healthy protein bar.

I used to buy these at Costco for years. These bars used to control my blood sugar to prevent spikes and valleys. Great calculated calorie snack for mid-afternoons when I was busy or needed a gentle pick-up. However, these current bars are NOT the old style bars! The new label shows "Betty Lou's Stabilyze Bars," which unfortunately are not equal to the previous bars. The manufacturer has changed the size, consistency, taste and texture of the bars. They barely level out my blood sugar and it drops sooner. The previous bars stabilized my blood sugar for about 2+ hours; the current bars barely last one hour. The 4 stars were given only because the "new" coconut bars are similar to the previous coconut bars in taste. Betty Lou's other flavors (peanut butter, hazelnut, mint chocolate ...) would actually be rated 1-2 stars because they are just short of being uneatable. Those bars are hard to chew and are tasteless. I wish the manufacturer would offer both types (the previous style and the current style) or revert to the old style. I tried ordering from the manufacturer directly, as their website showed an illustration of the old-style bars. I received the NEW bars instead. I tried calling them--number was disconnected; emailing them yielded no response. Not at all pleased with this company.

As can be seen by earlier reviews vs more recent ones, this company was taken over by another called Betty Lou's. The result is a bar about 2/3 the size of the previous bar which tastes stale and less flavorful than the previous bars. In addition the price has skyrocketed. The bars which used to be available at Costco in all 3 flavors are now only available as an assorted pack of 3 flavors, 2 of which I do not like. I only order the chocolate mint flavor. I have been eating these bars for 5- 6 years at least and can easily notice the difference in the quality and size. The current bars are a huge disappointment.
