Works great
I recently switched from paper to electronic music, and needed a mount for my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. Which works great with the mobilesheets app, btw. I know there are lots of cheaper mounts out there, and some are probably as good as the Hercules. But lots are junk, and who has time for that? This is nice and sturdy, very adjustable, seems really secure (more so than some of the "friction fit" 2-contact point types; this has 3 contacts, with corner blocks), and, will actually fit with my really bulky rotating case. Although I take it out and use a slimmer one--seems more secure that way, and, looks better. My one concern is I haven't really found the perfect mount on my mic stand. I ended up with the boom pretty close to horizontal, which wasn't too big a deal, but did stick out into the crowd further than I'd like. I may switch to a separate mic stand. I think the newer version of this one might have more adjustability, but I liked the 3-pt contact for this one, and, it was a little cheaper, being an earlier model.

My second one
I got my first one at a local music store and until someone else broke it (sound guy was pulling cords up from the stage and one was under my mic stand with my tablet and this holder still attached as it all hit the stage). Until that point, I had my first one for about 4 years or so. When I saw I could get another one here on Amazon, I didn't even hesitate to buy it. Of all the tablet stands out there (that I've seen) this is the only one I've ever used and for my first tablet holder, I think I got a good one my first time out. It's pricey, but totally worth it. Easy to connect to your mic stand and easier still to put the tablet on it.

Perfect for the Surface Pro 4
I own a few instrument stands & a music stand made by Hercules and this tablet holder is another great product. I own a Surface Pro 4 and it's a very tight fit in the holder; if you have a device that's both taller & wider than 11.5" x 8" it probably won't fit. (If you own a Hercules music stand with the hand clutch, it clamps on nicely right above the clutch.)It comes with a mic stand adaptor, one-piece clamp, and a suction cup attachment. If you're in the market for a versatile tablet holder, this is the product to buy.

So far so good. I would like to see the company put ...
Wish it would adjust to more of an angle. I did some modifying to make it do what I needed, and so far, so good. I would like to see the company put more of a bend on the angled arm.UPDATE:I have had this for over a year now and use it most every day. I STILL would like to see more of an angle on the arm. I mount this to the boom of my mic stand to keep my eyes higher to be able to look up at my audience more easily. I had to modify around the ball end and grind away the "fins" around it as well as make the post a bit smaller, which worried me as to it being strong enough. It has held very well and I take this thing everywhere, open jams, open mics, my solo gigs and my band gigs. I'm actually buying another one so I have one I can keep with my band gig bag and practice room and leave the other in my solo bag for my acoustic gigs. After my mods and it STILL holds up, this is the one to buy, I'm upping my rating, but only by one star because I'll still have to modify the new one when I receive it. Oh and to all those who complain about the ball falling out of the socket when you try to tighten it, you have to SNAP the ball into the socket FULLY, then tighten. Then it will work fine. It took me a couple of tries before I figured it out. The instructions could be written a bit better to avoid this issue.

Works great with Surface Pro 3!
I have a Surface Pro 3 (11.5" x 8") and was stumped looking for a tablet holder that could fit it. I saw a review that said it would work and figured it was worth a shot. Lucky for me, it fits perfect! If my tablet were any larger, I doubt it would fit. It's such a snug fit that I imagine variance in the build tolerances could mean some of them would not fit a tablet of that size. I've been using it weekly since June and it's held up fantastically. Highly recommended!Oh, I also had the assembly problem so many of the others did. Make sure the ball is all the way into the socket!

THIS WORKS!
Using this for teaching piano lessons virtually. Have it mounted to my microphone stand. It allows you to get an angle going while still holding the tablet securely. This one replaced another tablet stand clip that wasn't nearly as secure. Should have just spent the extra $ upfront and bought this Hercules one.

Good but not perfect
This product is exactly what I needed but the ball joint socket doesn't tighten enough when using a tablet. When using something slightly heaver than your phone you really need to tighten this down so it doesn't tilt down on you. When holding my 9 inch tablet in place it caused the ball joint to pop out of the socket when tightened enough. I was able to solve the issue simply by adding some tick gorilla tape around the ball. The unit is very easy to use and works perfect for me now. Still could use a minor modification in the design to fix the issue.

I’d buy this again with my eyes closed!
The brand alone says it all. Strong, durable and fits to most mic stands. Some of the slimmer stands are quite small and so I had to use a small piece of tissue or card to fit around the stand and that attach the holder. I love that it has room to fit a lot of tablets and iPads.
