No negatives at all this is all excellently engineered construction. Grips like a demon and holds the hotas warthog flight kit perfect. Be sure to remove the large weighted plates on the hotas first as they're not needed and will save a couple of kg each..Amazing product.. Nice to see this.

Purchased these for my Thrustmaster Warthog (joystick and throttle). Packaged neatly and very easy to assemble... just three parts that slot together with 4 screws. They are quite heavy and as a result pretty sturdy. It took a few minutes to get them correctly adjusted to the thickness of my desk, but they can be height adjusted quite a bit and then micro-adjusted once attached to your desk. My desk is an Ikea hack job, so basically a table-top with two sets of drawers either side. The thickness of the table-top is about 3.5cm and having owned other smaller desks, I wouldn't really want to clamp these to anything thinner... given the weight of the mount plus that of the throttle.Recommended anyway, much better than having them sat on the desk!

These mounts are very sturdy. Easy to put together - the instructions are simple and clear and very much worth reading to avoid a potential gotcha that , I think, another reviewer encountered regarding adjustment of the levers that tighten the brackets onto the table.The materials are excellent - reassuringly chunky and hold the decidedly weighty Warthog units very well with only a tiny amount of movement.This is a very short term review based on using the brackets with the HOTAS for only a couple of sessions, but I'm very pleased with the brackets. They may seem expensive, but the old adage "buy cheap, pay twice" probably is true with things like this. Not much point in buying a £400 HOTAS and mounting it on something that wobbles and ruins your overall experience.

I've not used these yet, but so far they feel sturdy. The rubber on the desk top face could have been thicker. I'll be replacing this sooner rather later.Edit: I've now being using these for nearly a month. I have replaced the rubber pads. Like others have said, these are rock solid. Just watch your fingers when you clamp and un-clamp.

Bought this for the winwing orion 2 throttle and joystick combo for the f18.Does not fit this model at all

Really good mounts although imo expensive for what they are only probs are i mount my stick centrally and have a 100mm extension to help with control but the mount is too short to put the stick at a comfortable height. Ive noticed after time the throttle mount seems to twist to the left or right no matter how tight i mount it. Lastly not a fault of the manufacturer but if your desk has tapered edges the mounts wont work the edges must be square probs obvious to everyone but i made the mistake so perhaps someone else will.

Functional and well made. Stays in place if you fold some paper between the grip and your table, otherwise can be a little loose.

Very pleased with these mounts. They are easy to fit, very sturdy, and even come with spare screws and bolts. Included are screws for fitting the Throttle and Joystick to the platforms. One thing to note... it was necessary to drill holes in the top bracket and bolt the joystick and throttle mounts to the desk in order to stop sideways movement of the joystick from loosening the mount. I had to do the same for the throttle mount. My desk has a bevel at the edge for ornamentation and, the surface, while not polished is very smooth. This may have encouraged movement of the bracket. Either way, it's an old desk so bolting the brackets onto it was not an issue for me and the mountscare solid now. I have given 5 stars because I'm very pleased with the brackets. They are a bit pricey but worth it.
