I now have three VIVO stands on my two desks, and they're all doing a great job. Construction is simple and very solid. There are lots of easy adjustment options. And the upright tubular body stretches to the right height - a few inches higher than any of the stands you'll get with even a top-price monitor. I keep my desk relatively low - the proper height for typing. Even so, the VIVO stands still have about an inch of height available once I've adjusted monitors to eye level.A nice touch is the inclusion of a cord keeper that also has slots to hold the Allen keys you'll need for making large adjustments. So no worries about finding the tool later on. (You'll only need the keys for big adjustments - you can tilt and swivel without them.)On thing about this particular stand: the base has that 'arrowhead' shape. It thus takes up a fair bit of room. And the surface is slightly sloped, so it's difficult to use for piling up the usual desktop clutter. If you're using the stand with a larger monitor - 27- inch or more - you'll want the stability this solid-steel stand provides. But for smaller monitors - 24-inch or less - you might consider one of the many stands with a flat rectangular base, that can be used to park a coffee cup or a tray full of paperclips.I've finally upgraded all my monitors to VESA mounting. It's a huge relief - seeing the uncluttered desk space gives me positive energy every time I sit down at the computer. Well worth it.

I expect you can get better if you spend more but for me this is perfect. It feels solid is easy to adjust and was pretty straightforward to attach.
