Quilter's Dream Orient Blend Select Batting (93in x 72in) Twin

I’m VERY happy I bought this batting. I rely on Quilters Dream for consistent top-notch, high-quality batting and am never disappointed so I had no worries trying this batting for the first time.The best way I can describe this batting is to equate the finished product to a “lightweight, packable, insulated jacket.” I can’t wait to use it in a quilt coat. It’s super-soft and super-thin compared to other batting yet it feels substantial. The “drape,” mentioned in all professional reviews, is something you have to see/feel to believe and since I’m sewing with Tana Lawn, I am especially excited about this characteristic!

I converted to all wool batting about 8 years ago but saw this and thought I'd give it a try as the quilt was a gift for someone in a more humid climate. The drape on this quilt is absolutely wonderful. I obviously did not use the quilt but had it draped over my lap to do the finishing touches on the binding. It was warm-not as warm as wool!-but warm enough for all but the coldest nights I think! If I can find this in the correct sizes, I will most likely use this again. Also, read the reviews closely! The one really poor review had nothing to do with the quality but was due to a size issue.

This is the only batting i buy. Naturally antibacterial and anti allergenic. Have used it for years. Quick delivery. I am pleased.

This batting is super soft and makes the quilt drape beautifully. It is light and my needle had no trouble even when I doubled the layer of batting. It is my favorite!

This is my favorite batting for quilting. It is a nice thickness for quilts that you can sleep under without being too hot. It quilts pretty clean and holds up nicely when you wash it.

The drape and flexibility of this when compared to a cotton batting is remarkable. Easy to work with and the finished product is so much nicer.

This is the best batting I’ve ever used. It’s got a beautifully soft drape, easy to sew, no bearding. I will always use this in the future.
