It does actually work at greening up grass by feeding it nutrients and iron, however, the bag is definitely not good for 40,000 sq ft. If your yard is around that size you’d ideally want at least 2 or 3 bags for coverage. I used a Scott’s broadcast push spreader, dialed to the instructed settings, however it did not distribute the fertilizer evenly and you can clearly see the lines where I walked with the spreader. I would gladly recommend this product, but I would also recommend using a better broadcast spreader and purchasing more than what the bag claims to cover.

Excellent product. Go my lawn looking better than ever. Top value for your money. I recommend using the lowest setting on your scotts spreader, like 4 and half.

This is a FLA only product. So far it is delivering the rapid green-up as advertised. Zoysia looks very good with only a week since application. Need to be very careful with amount applied. Could result in an over Nitrogen application issue if you are not extremely with spreader setting.

This product advertised greening the lawn in just three days. But I chose to give it 2 weeks before I write a review. I applied this fertilizer on May 30, 2025 and I took this photo yesterday roughly six days after I mowed the lawn. This fertilizer has done the magic. My grasses were growing so slowly that I didn't have to mow my lawn in three weeks. I was also considering reseeding my lawn because the lawn seems thinning out. But since I applied the fertilizer the grasses are growing so rapidly as well as greened as advertised. Overall I am more than happy with this product.
