Rui Smiths Carbon Steel Cuticle Nippers - Professional Carbon Steel French Handle - 6mm Jaw, Single Spring

I like it easy to use

This is the third clipper that I’ve tried. My favorite, “Tweezerman” standards are not the same as they used to be so I have been searching for a different brand. I had to send them back since they wouldn’t cut but tugged at my cuticle as did the second set. This Rui nippers are SO SHARP that you must be sure to be safe with them. They are great! I wish though that they were offered with the half jaw that I am used to and have more control with. I have been very pleased using these. I also prefer the single spring on these as I am able to move it out of the way as needed occasionally for getting a different angle. The carbon steel is strong and all in all, they are very well made, comparable to the German standard that I was accustomed to using.

This is my second time i bought this product. I still have the first one which i bought 2 or 3 months ago but when i decided to order it again because it was really good and i am afraid that it will be gone forever, it was out of stock. Im happy now that it was back abd im so satisfied with it. So worth it for the price. I tried buying in fred meyer 2 times but im not satisfied and just ho straight ti the garbage. I recommend this item. Dont forget the brand abd model when you buy.

I bought this cuticle nipper due to all the good reviews. I didn't get a chance to use it for awhile after I bought it so was unable to return this. I have experience with cuticle nippers before and this does not work. It does not "clip" your cuticle, you have to pull it to remove it (you are almost ripping off your cuticle). I don't know if I got a lemon but it does not work well at all. OK, so I thought it must just not be sharp enough so I had the edge sharpened and nothing changed (the other scissor and knife that I had sharpened worked well so I know it was not the sharpening service). Don't buy!

I have been looking for a cuticle nippers to replace my favorite FW Engels from Germany to no avail. These Rui Smith are the closest. They are sharp, precision, and smooth operation. They are by far the best on the market today!

This is an excellent cuticle clipper for this price point, very similar to much more expensive ones. I have owned many and I would purchase this one again if I needed another. The construction of the device is well done and it works. I am recommending this product to those considering a purchase.

The blades are sharp, but the overall construction is cheap.

If used as intended..these clippers should maintain their sharp edges as advertised. I never let anyone use any tool(s) on me that have been shared or used on/with another customer. NEVER. Unfailingly, I take these with me when I go and and take them when I leave the nail place.. The young nail tech says they are very sharp and work very good!! I think so too! I even bought her a pair for her own use for Christmas!
