Crucial Technology 8GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-14900,

The Crucial 8GB Single DDR3/DDR3L 1866 MT/s (PC3-14900) 204-Pin SODIMM RAM chips are the perfect upgrade for my 2017 iMac 27". They are very easy to install, within 5 mins you can have the old RAM out and the new modules inserted. I have been using this memory for approximately 5 months now and I have not experienced any problems with computer as a result.The primary reason I purchased this RAM was to improve the performance of my video editing applications. Prior to installation of this memory I only had 8GB of RAM and video editing would become challenging when working with full 4K video. After installation, everything is fast, smooth, super responsive.

Worked well. Easy to install. Replaced 4 slots with 8gb each. Very good iMaC response time.

I upgraded my 27" iMac (late 2015) model from 8mb to 24 by adding 2, 8mb modules. Took barely 10 minutes and I have never done this before. Speed since is like night and day. Very good quality product, the correct product as described and fast shipping. I plan to buy 2 more to max out my machine at 32mb.

I bought this to add 8GB to my DS218+. I dropped it in the secondary slot, booted up, and the NAS reported 10GB of RAM (2GB stock+this upgrade). Works flawlessly for a fraction of the cost of "Synology" branded RAM.

The media could not be loaded. Now i can open photoshop, lightroom and premiere pro in the same time after I added crucial’s 16 gigs of ram. Amazing product 👌

Excellent memory upgrade for the iMac (Late 2015) maxxed-out at 32GB. I've seen other Mac users buying and reviewing different brands of memory buy, this Crucial memory has the right specs for these machines including CL13 timing and 1867mhz. I did a lot of research and it was well worth it. Also, very easy install and they shipped it fast!

I like the way how this 8 GB RAM works fine in my DS218+. I read online that this supports up to 16 Gb by removing the pre-installed 2Gb and inserting another RAM of 8 Gb but that breaks the warranty so I installed this in the available slot and it works as a charm. Just do a Memory Test with the Synology Assistant software after installing it and you're good to go!

I purchased this RAM to install in my Synology DS-718+ NAS. It worked great and gave me a total of 10 GB of RAM. Much cheaper than Synology branded RAM and larger than what Synology offers. The additional RAM should allow me to run some virtual machines for testing purposes.
