According to proper epidemiological studies, Huperzine A has the same effects as pyridostigmine (a drug used to treat myasthenia gravis, MG), is safe up to 1000mcg per day, and rarely has side effects. I tried up to 4 capsules of this product per day until the packet ran out. The benefits (reduced muscle weakness) kicked in after about 45 minutes and lasted 3 to 4 hours. I suffered no side effects.
