This is the gift I buy for every kid. I keep 9 clixo in my purse at all times. Great for restaurant distractions or quick diversions on-the-go. I’ve kept 3 year olds all the way to 36 year olds entertained with whose. HIGHLY recommend.

Just buy these. Stop looking at other toys you are unsure if your kid will like. I have three kids ranging from 4-14 and they all play with them. Friends come over and want to play with them. These are well made, the texture is like a plastic waterproof feel so I tested out letting my kids use them in the bathtub and they held up well. (We have an old metal tub that you can stick magnets to). They are easy to use even for my 4 year old. The magnets are a good quality that kids can easily manipulate the shapes into what they want. Legos are fun, but I think these are more fun! Plus the added bonus, they don’t hurt if you step on them! They seem pricey, but they are well made and worth their value. I highly recommend getting them! If you are unsure you want to commit to buying the bigger pack, get a smaller one first then buy the big pack. They will all fit together and you will see kids use their imagination and challenge themselves to create more.

Nice set, they are color coded for the positive and negative sides of the magnet. Bought these for our granddaughter and she likes to use them with her magna tiles. We feel that a bigger set would be better for making things. Haven’t looked to see if certain shapes are sold separately, sometimes just a few more of a shape is needed not a whole set.They are sturdy and worth the cost.

I purchased this set for a 3-1/2 year old, which is probably too young for this particular set. The picture diagram / instructions just did not work for some of the things you are supposed to be able to build with this set, like the helicopter. I could not figure it out and my granddaughter lost interest pretty quickly.

My grandkids love magnatiles, so I thought they would enjoy these. They do. Lots of possibilities for the little ones and the bigger kids.

Portable - Although they haven’t had too much need for the portability due to the pandemic, he mentioned that it’s pretty easy to toss them in the bag to bring over to the grandparent’s house for a visit.3. Viable alternative to screen time - They’re always trying to find new options to limit screen time, and this toy was a great option to claw back the hours.Surprising highlight from my personal play time with the kiddos - it challenged me more than the kids to come up with new creations without instructions.Initially, it was intimidating for me to build my first object beyond a simple ball, and I was confused as to why I couldn’t “get it”. However, (forgive the pun) it finally CLICKED when I saw the kids have fun making the most random creations even if it wasn’t close to the actual object they were trying to make. I had to get over my own mental barriers of potential failure, and instead, see creation as a challenge and to just go for it! While this mindset is probably too deep for the kids to understand, it was a turning point for me and I’ve been recommending CLIXO to all the parents I know.Enough of my own personal epiphanies… As a former engineer, I’m always trying to find ways to encourage my niece and nephew to take an interest in the sciences and explore their creativity, so I considered myself lucky to come across this toy in my search for the perfect gift.

Our 5 and 9 year old got these for Christmas. Packaged great, can even store in this package if you want to. Came with a pamphlet of ideas. Kept them engaged for over an hour. Great quality so far. Great purchase.
