Exceptional Slide Viewer
I have had numerous slide viewers over the years, but this one is the best I’ve tried. It’s 3X magnification, the color is sharp, and it bright. I like the idea that it has a release button that drops the current slide into a tray which holds about 10 slides so you don’t have to take each one out one at a time. Very happy with this slide viewer. When you are looking for a particular slide this beats getting out a slide projector.

It DOES take 2 x 2 slides.
It works great. It is very bright. It does have some lint/scratches on the inside of the lens but does not affect viewing. Best of all it DOES take 2 x 2 slides.

Not What I Was Expecting!
The description/picture of the product shows a clear picture of the inserted negative. All this thing does is magnify the negative, similar to holding the negative up to the light.

4.5 stars, actually
The LED backlight is even and bright enough. I have trouble releasing mounted slides, unless the back of the viewer is tilted up a bit. I like the USB power, instead of batteries. Haven't yet tried unmounted film. At such a modest price, it's worthwhile for me. I'm sorting about 20 years worth of slides before sending them to be scanned. So this will pay for itself in the long run.

Good for quick scanning
This is a nice, simple viewer for scanning through slides. The magnification is just OK, but good enough to see. The LED light is bright. The SLIDE EJECT button is worthless and I usually have to shake the unit to get the slide out. So I often just hold them in front of the lens or hold the slide and don't let it drop into the viewer completely unless I want a longer look. I have not used the cord yet, just on batteries.

Bright and easy to use
I've had it about three weeks and have viewed several hundred slides from the 1980s and 1990s. So far it's been nearly perfect.I had concerns before buying it. I read reviews about all the slide viewers including this one. All of them had complaints about major problems with slides sticking, about the image not being large enough, and about it not bring bright enough. None of those have been problems for me.Slides do once in a while stick inside the viewer, but simply jiggling the eject button and sometimes holding the viewer upside down has solved the problem. It hasn't happened often, and it might have been because I didn't press the eject button forcefully enough. I'm still experimenting with that.Brightness is not a problem. It's very bright. The image is clear and easy to see. Some reviews complain about 3" being too small, but I think it's a good compromise. A larger viewer would be less convenient to hold (though it won't matter as much to people who use it on a desk).Overall, I wonder why I didn't buy one of these decades ago.
