So far .......so good!
Been using the product for about 3 months and 3 weeks at this point.I was skeptical about the product, and didn't really know what would happen really; forgoing the recommended lubricant (dexron\mercon) for my vehicle. The dexron\mercon petroleum has alot of proven history behind it. Replacing it with something that looked so radically different (dexron being red, Lube Guard's product being completely clear) and not manufacturer approved, or time tested.........was a little scary. So far, I haven't noticed anything negative occurring; infact, quite the opposite. I have noticed, my power steering pump has progressively gotten quieter, as time has went along ----- to my total shock and surprise. At first, I thought, I was imagining it; and, didn't want to jump to any conclusions ----- but, ....I'm certain......it has gotten quiter, as time has went along. That was not expected......for sure.In the interest of full disclosure, and being as accurate (and truthful) about this product, as I can be:ALL power steering whine was not eliminated. The power steering pump on my vehice had about 163,000 miles on it, at time of fluid change. There was wear and damage that this product couldn't reverse, and can't reverse. Age, dirty dexron, and air in the system, had already taken its toll on the pump.Again, what I noticed about this product, was a small quietening of the whine, immediately after the fluid was changed; not a tremendous difference; SOME difference. The thing that's noteworthy about this product though: for some reason, it has been able to further quiet the pump's whine, as time has passed. At first, I thought, it was in my head; but, my father noticed the difference too, when he drove it. He said: the steering pump is quieter now, than it was immediately after the fluid change. The more I thought about it ---- he's right; the steering pump's whine used to be louder. Him not driving my truck every day allowed him to see and remember the difference more easily.I am not a scientist, and have not subjected my steering pump to wear tests, performed by a lab; so, I cannot attest to the rate of wear my steering pump is currently under, using this product; and, I have only been using this product for less than 4 month's now. Please keep all that in mind, when reading this review. Certainly, when reading other reviews, from reviewers that want to award 5 stars immediately from pulling this product from the shipping box, and tell you: it is gold, has no negatives, and magically reverses pump age, wear, and damage ------ be skeptical. It takes real time, and/or lab analysis to determine what the true effects of a lubricant actually is. Pulling a product out of the shipping box, and writing a 5 star review, day one, isn't trustworthy analysis.Having said the above, I am honestly encouraged, and impressed, by what I have observed from this product so far. Pump whine has indeed decreased over time. I would say, by atleast 30%.I did not award 5 stars; because, I would need much more time with it, and/or independent lab analysis, to bestow that rating upon this product.* If you want to aid this product's performance, burp as much air out of the power steering system as possilbe. Hooking up a brake bleeder tool to the reservoir (with proper reservoir attachment) may work best; but, I haven't tried that method myself. I just turned my steering wheel lock to lock (left to right) 80 times, with the front wheels suspended off the ground.Hoping, an honest review helps somebody.

Works well
I put this in my 2000 Toyota Tacoma when I changed the power steering fluid. It worked great, never had any power steering issues at all and the truck had 387,000 miles on it when I sold it. Whether the problem free power steering was due tothis product, Toyota's engineering and craftsmanship, my changing the fluid every 30,000 miles, the power steering filter I installed on the system, or a combination of the above, I can not say. However, having worked in the automotive repair industry I do know that 387,000 miles is a lot of miles to have a problem free power steering pump and rack and pinion.I also put this product in a 2011 Camry and the last I heard the owner was happy and the PS system was still problem free.I will definitely continue to use this product.

Worked as intended!
I bought this for a truck I sold that was the bane of my existence. However, this stuff really did the trick in making sure all systems were go. I had some left over and that went with the truck. I chose this one because I believe synthetic oils work better on vehicles.
