Q: Does the head rest stay in place while it is reclined or does it push forward into upright position while reclined?

Barely. I have to basically keep my body weight down for it to stay reclined. I almost always wake up sitting back up. Good chair though

We've had this chair for around a year and a half and I'm ready to just throw it out. It squeaks when you rock. It squeaks when you get up. Putting the foot rest up sounds like a gun going off and it's a pain to get down. And all this noise is from getting predominantly used by my 15 year old daughter that might way 110 lbs.

Q: does it recline back far enough to sleep on it?
