Q: Are people spraying and then blowing OR leaving the spray in the nose for a while?

The directions that come with it indicate that a person should blow his/her nose first, then spray (closing one nostril and spraying the other, then swapping nostrils). Immediately after the spray, the person should tilt his/her head back to get the saline to travel through the sinuses. After using the spray, just go about business as normal -- no need to blow the nose or anything like that, and if the person tilted his/her head back, the spray's not really in the nose anymore. It's more of a full sinus spa.I follow these directions, and I've had great results with it. I tend to suffer from sinus headaches, but when I use it, the headache (which nothing else even takes the edge off of) either eases up or goes away entirely.

Q: What are the active/inactive ingredients?

Active ingredients are the two wetting agents and two salts. (Sodium and potassium chloride)

Q: Was the bottle supposed to come with directions? or just the directions on the box?

Q: Will it help heal sores in my nose?

Yes nasal dryness can cause the sores. By staying moisturized it will help sores heal. Rhinase Gel may be even better because it lasts longer.
