HawaiiPharm Umckaloabo Liquid Extract, Umckaloabo (Pelargonium Sidoides) Dried Root Tincture Herbal Supplement 4 fl.oz

Tried this for longterm mucus in lungs.Made me cough quite a bit but seemed to have a very positive effect on nasal congestion, I think I coughed out a lot of the mucus that's built up in my chest over the years. This stuff is supposed to be best for bronchitis or colds, but it seems like it might be beneficial for a lot of lung problems and the effects were clearly noticeable unlike many supplements.

If you feel the start of a cold, this stuff stops it in it's tracks. Builds up the immune system and works better than all the cold medicine junk on the shelves which only makes you worse, before only helping the sympoms after you purchase the second pack of sudafed or Nyquil, etc. I think they have something in the medicine which makes you worse first, so you keep buying the product, and walla, for some odd coincidence you get better with the second purchase... a couple teaspoons of this in your tea and the cold will never surface.....

I have not used this so I don't have any reviews yet, but have great hopes.

We take 2 drops every time we’re beginning to feel a bit sick (scratchy throat, sneezing, runny nose), and it seems to prevent further symptoms.

I first came across umckaloabo in Germany about 10 years ago. I have cough that seems to begin every Fall and I usually go to an MD who gives me some sort of antibiotic. That wasn't readily available to me so I asked the German pharmacist and he immediately pulled out a bottle of this stuff. Within 24 hours my cough was gone. When I travel to Europe every couple years I buy another couple bottles. This, from Hawaii Pharm, works as good as what I've purchased in Germany.

I believe this stuff saved my life. Every winter I get acute bronchitis and being 75 years old I don't think I am able to take another severe round of it. When I feel it coming on, I just take a dose. It works. The government will probably ban it.

I’m giving only four stars for the price, and we took other things with this to knock out our cough but I do think this made the difference. Some people’s cough lasted for months after a cold this year, but within a couple weeks we were all better after taking this.
