Seller really cares if your isopods arrive alive! I've ordered twice so far and all my little ones were up and moving and I could easily spot them. I've ordered from 3 other places and they have come deceased. This is the only place I can realibly say you will receive your little buddies and they will be in good quality!

Got the little guys as a gift for a new gardener in my life and all came alive and SO WELL! Seller was rightfully worried about the temperature and all, as we were too. There was a sudden weather change we hadn’t prepared for. Regardless, they made sure to make them extra safe and well taken care of. The gardener was so excited seeing them. Seems the seller was unable to reach us before arriving but very satisfied with our roly polys.

I just received my rolly pollies. They were all happy and well cared for. When I opened the lid, a few came up to say hi. They are going into my bioactive dart frog enclosure. They will have a couple of weeks to make it home before the froggies come in. I would certainly buy from this seller again.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered January 25 due to warmer weather and they arrived today February 1st.Very well packaged. The cup with this isopods was in a Styrofoam cut out with the hot hands heat pack in a nearby cutout (still slightly warm). The pods were active and immediately began exploring there new home!

all of the isopods arrived alive! they acclimated to their new home (a small glass tank for invertebrates) immediately. they emerge from the substrate whenever i mist their enclosure. thank you so much for the inclusion of pregnant isopods along with the gift of a pocket isopod habit. i was actually considering buying one! it’s such a novel concept. i will buy from pocket pets again in the future.

I'm very impressed, I saw that they provide cold packs on hot days but I was worried ordering these because I'm in New York in January. However it was very cleverly packaged, an entire box made out of layers of styrofoam which is good for keeping consistent temps. There was also a heat pack in a hollow hole in one of the styrofoam layers. I wasn't expecting that but it's very professional. They all arrived alive. I don't know how big these are supposed to be but I believe they are still babies, very small. But I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase! They took all the precautions to make sure the bugs arrived safely. And for the people complaining of having them arrive dead, if they'd read the paper provided it says if you send a picture within 8 hours of delivery they will replace it. That's a much bigger window than most people who ship live animals.

Looking around I searched to find a seller selling isopods for a reasonable price (to me) and I couldn't really find any. I wanted to add a few to my Leopard Gecko's bioactive vivarium. Then I came across Pocket Pets and found them to be selling for a much cheaper price than competitors. Although there weren't that many reviews and I was quite nervous, I took a chance. And I'm VERY happy I did. Around the time I made the purchase I was contacted about the timing around which my roly-polies would be delivered due to extreme heat. I had about 3 casualties but I appreciate the professionalism and care provided to these pets even after release. Also, because I got 30 of them (including the ones that didn't make it) and extras on the behalf of Pocket Pets, I can breed them!The only thing I would change would be the packaging. Don't get me wrong. It's EXTREMELY secure and you don't have to ever worry about escapees but getting through thick layers of styrofoam was difficult and messy. I don't know why styrofoam was chosen (maybe because it allows for more air?) but I won't miss cutting through it on what felt like a rescue mission for the isopods.NEVERTHELESS, I would definitely buy again!

The media could not be loaded. Healthy, well bred isopods! Shipment came is SUPER fast and was packed very well for the safety of the isopods, not a single one lost in the shipping process! The quality of the bugs themselves were way better than ones I have bought from local shops, or even big exotic shows. Small note in the package says this is a mother helping her 12 year old son run this business and I absolutely love that. Keep up the hard work kid your rocking it.
