After going through all the offers available I opted for the above model as it fitted my useage exactly, yes others offered more gadgets but I didnt need them.fitting went well, and it was very simple, only 2 choices of power cable and only 1 of these fitted, so no real options there. Pleased to see that there is the option to have 3 usb sockets if you dont have the options like dab+, great for those of us that have multiple phones, kindles etc that need charging. I found a knockout in my glove box for one of the sockets so the "bosses" phone can sit out of sight.After connecting I found 3 issues...1. steering wheel controls.it turns out that my older car doesnt use the canbus.... fixed by going onto forum, not the fault of Amaseaudio.2. No satellite lock. fixed after the unit realised it was nolonger in the far east and reset its recievers.3. no offline maps inside box. fixed by using the link supplied.whilst sorting the issues the support i got from Amaseaudio was fantastic, they contacted me on messenger and were brilliant. I supplied photos of the unit in situ and they offered a £10 gift card or reversing camare, awaiting for the camera to arrive.really pleased to see my photo on Amazon page above.... looks good doesnt it?

It’s a well priced item considering identical ones like pumpkin or eonon etc and they’re going for £180-290. Of course this isn’t jam packed with google maps and the android OS (initially I thought it was) it’s still nevertheless a great HU for BT radio etc etcPros• nice sturdy HU• fairly quick loading• auto connects to BT• nice boot logosCons• not the simplest to navigate• no built in android system• not easy to install if you have e46• can’t mirror with iPhoneThis is my personal review so of course your views may differ

My second E46 of the year and guess what, I've put another one of these little beauties in!There is an immediate improvement with the sound quality even with the stock speakers.A major improvement with the in-car entertainment system over the standard BMW Business units. Also it transforms the interior of the car bringing it bang up to date with the modern touch-screen and OEM look.My previous E46 had the HK speaker system from factory and it absolutely rocked without the need to any bass-enhancement units, the stock 6.5@ speakers in my new E46 need a little boost of the 32Hz range and it now sounds great, no need for a sub unless you want to rattle your teeth! Also this unit came with the CAN-BUS module and it shows features of the car such as when a door is open and which door or the boot (that's the trunk for the US lot).They really are a great bang for your buck. If you've got the original BMW business unit or a single after-market 1Din unit, take them out and put one of these in, you'll thank me for my advice!

I am sorry to say it but needs improvement.. The touch screen doesn't work properly and doesn't come with detailed information about installing.. How to use it and how to install the maps software.. Is good just to listen radio..😑The seller must review the factory plan!!

It just worked and the support team were suburb. The iso cable wasn't suitable for my car, but they sent free of charge, with a wireless steering controller. very happy so far!! CD, DAB+ from usb DVR, Rear camera, FM, TMPS, usb play back, maps, sd slot, cra play etc

Fit very well and also works very well,super cool stuff,works withiut any problems even loots of options on it

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this unit on 21/09/2021. Fitted professionally and very little use. There's power going to it but it's still not turning on. Please advise

Easy to get where it needs to be but so many wires to tidy before it will slide in all the way. Also moving the heating controls they don't quite fit properly so I used 3M grip tape to keep it in place and doesn't look that bad.Only problem I have is getting updated maps. It says naviextras as a website to go to but this model isn't listed as a product and it looks like you have to pay to update. The main issue I have with the maps as is, is that you can't use a postcode so isn't very easy to use.
