Beautiful pictures and story. We got the book for our 2 year old child who has a fairly recentInterest in horses. The book has mostly short paragraphs. And the moral of the story is no fighting. Taught to black beauty by his mom.As far as customer service . The person I spoke to was very intentive and as far as shipping it was quick it did not take two or three weeks just a couple of daysThank you for a wonderful book

My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this book I have the original version of Black Beauty but I felt it would be too intense for a very sensitive toddler who loves horses This is perfect And the illustrations are gorgeous Doesn't have a lot of text but it's a favorite of hers.
