It didn't actually work
The product is very similar in looks to the original VW key fob, but after following the instructions and used the key would open the car, but wasn't recognised and triggered the immobiliser when I tried to start the engine.To make this work I had to only use the new outer casing and transpose ALL of the original inner workings, circuit board and white plastic moulding to enable the new fob to work properly.

Was able to change out the internals into the new key in minutes very easy do. Great product for the price

ACTIVATED Immobiliser
Was able to transplant everything as per instructions but when put key in ignition it was not recognised and immobiliser activated
