Customer service second to none
I purchased my original chair in November 2022. I had been very impressed with the look ,comfort and sturdiness. Unfortunately the hydraulic piston started to fail which meant as you were working away the chair would slowly lower.I had resigned myself to purchasing another similar chair when I then noticed there was a 3 year guarantee where they stated they would repair or replace in 30 days.I emailed the company not confident of a response and received a reply the following day. They originally asked if I would be willing to replace the piston myself and they would reimburse the cost of the piston. When I explained I was not unable to do that. They then sent a replacement chair 3 days later. I can not fault the professionalism of their customer service. I am once again a satisficed customer with an excellent product.

It's lovely once it's all set up
I love this chair. Very comfortable and sturdy, and feels high quality. I wanted a decent chair for under £200 and this was perfect. Very comfortable so far, I only set it up yesterday though.I love that the arm rests lift up and it is very quiet. No squeeking when you move around! The only issue was the assembly. The instructions weren't all that clear, good enough to use though but attaching the arm rests... it took two people and longer than it should've. We just couldn't get it to line up perfectly to screw into the chair. Got there in the end though...!Once the chair is put together it's lovely. I hope to use this chair for many years. I'll see how it goes over the next few months.Edit February 2023:I forgot to update this review sooner but I'm pleased to say that a year and a bit later, it's still going strong! The padding is still nice and the leather hasn't worn away or anything like that. I've used it most days since buying it and had no trouble. The plastic is still good, the arm rests are still attached, and it wheels fine... Everything's good!I still recommend this chair after a year or so. Much, much better than my old one and much more affordable than some places would charge for the same sort of chair.

Tall fella, big chair.`
This is an Edited Review first written around February 2021, this follow up is dated May 2021.After several months of using this chair the foam feels like its giving out on the seat, everything else is spot on and working perfectly well, just the seat foam. I'll admit to having used it for about 6 to 8 hours every day since I bought it, but it's an office chair, it's supposed to be used every day isn't it? It's a real shame because I LOVE this chair, it's still comfy on my back, it still feels solid, i just may have to get new sponge for it which is going to be a real hassle. I did wonder when i first got it if the sponge was too soft but didn't want to make claims without knowing or understanding the product. If your only going to be using this product occasionally then i'd HIGHLY recommend it, Because of this I really am torn whether to drop the stars by one or not so i'll leave it as it is and let you make up your own mind. Every thing else bellow is my original review. Good luck on your quest for chair.First of all, it arrived before I expected so that was nice.I needed a chair for my cave/basement as the previous chair was giving me dodgy back. Even though my back wasn't up to much I still found it easy to assemble, one piece of advice though KEEP AND USE THE BOX for joining the back rest to the seat, get your foot under the back rest and raise it into position for fixing the screws. Everything you need is in the box, no need for screwdrivers etc. It's a little bit wide but I like that, the arms raised and lowered suit me well, the padding on the back feels nice and supportive, and the seat is nice and comfy. I'd give it 4.5 if I could but I can't so I didn't, But I can give it a 4.5 to you dear reader so I will... I give this chair a good 4.5 stars. There I did it. Nice.

A disaster!
Well, where do I start… I bought this chair a month ago. It wasn’t easy to assemble on my own but I managed it. The main problem/aggravation was the star shaped bit that the wheels fit on to. Because the legs have to be locked into place on the main spindle. They didn’t lock well so they kept coming off, it wasn’t until I finally got it upright that the downward pressure of sitting means they’ll never come unlocked unless I need to tip the chair in it’s side for some reason. So, assembly need to take place where you’re going to use it as you can’t get it over a step without at least one of the legs falling off as I discovered. The chair seems too upright and I feel like the headrest is pushing my head forwards. I’ve had to buy a small memory foam cushion to fit just under the head rest to fill in the cavity below it. This has resulted in more comfort at my neck but the chair is now only slightly less uncomfortable. The tilt doesn’t tilt, unless you really push hard on the floor and make sure the chair can’t roll back whilst attempting it. I’ve slackened the tension on the spring to the max too. I’ve decided I need to jam something in the spring so the chair doesn’t feel like I’m being tipped forward but then the tilt mechanism would be risky as it would drop out from between the springs if I attempted to tilt it thereafter. All in all, it’s a massive regret and I really miss my old chair which I had to get rid of because it started to rip on one of the arm rests…. Speaking of armrests, they aren’t long enough on this chair. The designer probably couldnt risk them being too long because the longer they are, the more likely to snap, with there being no downward support. My previous chair had triangular shaped arm rests so the length was just right because there was a downward support to the seat. Obviously I couldn’t lift those arms like I can these, but then I never had need to, neither do I have the need to with this chair. My main reason for buying was that the seat didn’t look like a racing car seat with padding each side with ‘flaps’ like a lot of the chairs I looked at seem to have. I like a flat seat. Even though this seat is flat, it isn’t supportive and there’s more stuffing in the back than the front, that is probably one of the reasons I feel too upright and almost like it’s tipping me out.All in all, a massive regret purchase.
